huwag ka lang hataw ng hataw, and huwag ka na magpalit ng muffler na maingay at pag narinig mo yun tunog mas lalo kang ma encourage na humataw...hehehehe

SiR has better torque figures and a DOHC engine.

but the 99 civic vtec models hindi rin naman papahuli sa acceleration... for an old geezer like me pwede na yung hatak nya.

saw your other thread... if you don't want the fuel consumption figures of the DOHC B16 (which is not much different from the regular PH16 vtecs if driven normally), get the 99 model civics na lang, in red, white or black. the passion orange color is unique to the SiR so walang ganun sa VTi. the other colors... well, it'll be a matter of putting the right stickers na lang hehehe.

if your going for FC, then get yourself an lxi 2000 model. yun ang gamit ko. sobrang tipid sa gas. 3 weeks full tank makati paranaque everyday. FC is around 12 - 14 km/l city driving. yun nga lang hindi kasing powerful ng mga SiR.

pero if you want power sa stock engine, then go for the SiR. to get the vtec to open, dapat 5500 rpm mo. medyo nakakaaddict yung vtec niyan... hehehe

hi. i need some help guys (i do hope this is the right thread). i used my sister's civic (2007 model) and unfortunately some guy in a motorcycle overcut me and a stone hit the car's fog lamp (driver's side). my question is, do you know where i can buy a replacement fog lamp (stanley)? honda is only selling it in pairs and its quite expensive (like 18k!). i just need 1 piece (surplus, anyone?). i need it asap or my sister will kill me. thanks.

parang nabasa ko na ito dati sir... no sure though.

    18k headlights? :jawdrop: damn!

anyways, if one side lang ang problem. then banawe is your friend! madaming surplus shops dun. since 06 naman atam honda has not change the design of the headlights so malamang meron na yan. hanap hanap lang sir.

    good luck!

It depends bro also on how you drive, it doesn't mean if you own an SIR lakas na sa gas, you can have a good FC even you own an SIR. Its your choice bro kung ano pipiliin mo, lxi, Vti, Sir, city. Just to give you also info about SIR, maintainance neto iba sa vti or lxi, sa engine parts, such as timing belts, o rings, gaskets, d belts etc. double ang price, pero di naman monthly palit nun, napapagipunan din un, pero kahit ganon, satisfaction guaranteed, and also kahit 1600 sya may power kang makukuha kung kailanganin mo. I hope you'll be making a right choice not regreting someday na sana eto nalang kinuha ko and also be careful of picking 2nd hand car, review the history 1st, yung iba balik stock lang pero laspag. Hope this helps you.

SiR na for me. But then again if you want to be more practical, say you have a GF and you think your allowance can't finance both high gasoline price and mall-ing w/ gf.. better get the vti.
