    is there a specific brand (eg. honda brand) of power steering fluid for honda? how much fluid does it need to flush and refill a 97 honda city?

    diba pede ATF lang dyan. Santa Fe ko puwede yun sa shell na aTF lang P240 isang refill na

    Hondas are picky when it comes to PSF, among others. It is BEST to use Honda OEM PSF.

    I totally agree with oj88, it's best to use OEM Honda fluids, better to be on the safe side than having to have costly repairs later.

    so does that answer my question that there is actually a "HONDA" brand (or oem) PS fluid like honda ATF?

    sa casa meron huling bili ko 600pesos 1liter, saan ba location mo, kasi sa las pinas meron auto supply nabibilhan ng orig na PSF honda.

    naku sa honda boss hindi pwede ang ATF. Masisira ang mga seals ng PS pump and steering gearbox pag nilagyan ng ATF.

    Learned this the hardway buti nalang company car. Sinalinan ko ng ATF after a few days tagas na PS fluid sa pump. Nagpa overhaul ako ng pump kaso ATF pa din nilagay ng talyer so ayun tagas ulit! haha! on my second repair kit honda PSF na binili ko so ayun ok na hanggang sa nabenta na oto di na nagka leak sa pump. Pero eventually sa rack and pinion naman nagka leak bago ibenta ang car...

    I think only Nissan uses ATF as powersteering fluid. Toyota din nasisira pag nilagyan ng ATF. Nissan patrol ko nakalagay mismo sa manual use ATF dexron II.

    indeed true.. hindi pede sa honda and atf na gamiting psf... both has different viscosity and chemical content design for the sole purpose.
