The P2.6M price of the Pilot is high, but the Pilot is quite expensive to start of with. US price of the AWD Pilot EX with leather seats $33K

For comparison a $38K Jeep Commander Limited is sold here for P2.85M.


Since both are imported from North America, If Honda had the same pricing system as Chrysler, it could have been sold here for P2.48M... still high of course, but lower.

I see the Pilot and Accord at Glorietta last Sunday, and what I can say about the Pilot, yes it is too overpriced. I will get a Ford Explorer 4x4 Eddie Bauer anytime if I have that money. Regarding Accord, very nice but minor changes..

The PILOT is the best selling honda in the US, next to accord and civic. It's outselling the crv and oddysey in recent sales chart.
Presyo lang talaga problema dito sa pinas.

yah I agree with you very much. in terms of quality, wala ako masabi dyan. Honda yan.

in fact I think it's even worth more than the Murano kung utility and space ang pag-uusapan.

but the 2.6M is too high. but I understand why it's priced that way. Honda has no plans of mass selling this suv. and even if they do price it at 1.6M (price of Sta Fe V6), hindi din ganun kadami bibili nyan coz of skyrocketing gas prices. This car is being marketed for luxury and therefore, for the can affords lang. but of course, we all know naman that this car is not that luxurious.

so what now Honda?
