The exterior designs of honda and toyota look pretty bland, but if you look closer, they are interesting to look at. The beauty is in the details, may not be blaring out compared to the koreans'. Moreover, fashion fades, so if the blaring design gets outdated, then it is no longerfashionable.

A good example is bmw, the 3 and 5 series never really changed so much from one model to another, but they are so simple that the beauty lasts. Compare bmw with mb or audi, bm may not be as fashionable as them, but the simplicity is the key.

Lastly, if you have a car, will you enjoy the car if it's all about fashion or function? The interior also counts, right? What about the engine and tranny? They should last at least 10 good years or many many hundreds of thousands of miles, right? Is the car fun to drive? You have to consider that too if you're an enthusiast.

There are so many factors to consider to make the claim of having good design. But the bottom line is, it is you who is going to pay for it, it is you who is going to drive it, it is you who is going to enjoy it; not other people. If the car you own makes you happy, then it is designed for you, then? It must be very well designed.

Mahilig ka sa manual? Well people like you (or me) aren't numerous enough to warrant manufacturers to add an additional variant in their lineup. From an operations point of view, it's just not profitable unless sales of manual TOTL variants rise.

Mas maraming kumukuha ng manual because of economic reasons - mas mura ng 30-50k sa AT version, tapos mas matipid sa gas. But those who buy manuals for a manual's sake? Dying breed.

Nagkandaugaga na siguro ako kung may Mazda 2 1.5R hatch in MT form, but it's unlikely to happen.

Perhaps Honda brought in the Odyssey and Pilot in response to the success of the Alphard. Despite the huge price tag and the thirsty 3.5V6 engine, I see more of these than I see Grand Starex Limousines. I understand why they brought the Odyssey here. It might actually have a solid following. But the Pilot? They brought it here once before, and it wasn't very successful. I don't think it would be able to hold its ground against more powerful, better looking, and most likely lower priced rivals like the CX9 and Explorer. They should've brought cars that can take advantage of the JPEPA, and not USDM cars.

Yeahp. MZ2 1.5MT hatch pinakamaganda sana. Big engine on such a small and cute vehicle, it must be very thrifty and fun kung nagkatotoo nga. But it seems Mazda is not too fond of MTs.
