Honda with PH16 engine code

curiously, what 's the difference between PH16 and B16? Thanks again.

B16 is DOHC.
Since they said the PH16 is the engine of the ESi/VTi, then it must be SOHC.

I always thought the engine of the ESi was the same as the non-VTEC D16A of the HR-V.

I have a feeling the PH16 is basically a D16A (1.6 liter SOHC) which came in both VTEC and non-VTEC versions.
