February 24th, 2007 01:17 AM #13Hmmm. Sounds like head office ang nagtaas at hindi individual dealers. Unless theyr'e also corporate officers, dealers don't usually dictate prices (unethical yung ganoon eh). AFAIK, the big money of HCPI comes from MBTC and Ayala.
Yung pagtaas ng presyo from MNCs, pinagusapan yan nung budget conference sometimes last year. Prices usually go up in anticipation of higher costs/expenses for the rest of the year, and usually ibig sabihin hindi maitaas ng enough yung unit sales to offset those cost increases. AFAIK, ganun yun. The timing could be better though.
