Like the Brio, they might 'justify' the higher price because of the better toys, safety equipment, more powerful engine, etc...

April 17th, 2015 01:13 AM #3Kalaban ng Avanza pero presyong Innova? No way, mag Innova na lang ako kung ganun o di kaya Avanza na lang tapos keep the change. Hirap kasi sa Honda masyadong pinagdidikdikan yung "premium" image nila, in reality, a Honda is just on the same level as a Toyota, not to mention that Honda is past its heyday and car buyers nowadays are better informed than say 10 or 20 years ago and Honda can't just keep on feeding us with the premium image BS.
Sabihin na nating taxi ang Avanza, pero for me that's not a deal breaker, kaya nga ginawang taxi yan kasi subok na matibay. Maybe Honda is just scared that its vehicles cannot withstand the abuses that a typical taxi takes on a daily basis.
Isa pang sobrang sablay ang pricing ng Brio Amaze, yung entry level mas mahal pa sa Vios J.

Agree with you sir. Di nako magugulat kung ka presyo nga niya Innova. Yep ang Brio mahal ang price dahil daw 'uncompromised' safety and best in class power. In fairness when I checked the Brio, it had cheap plastics but hey it has all the bells and whistles of its bigger siblings (ABS, dual srs airbags, premium sound system, keyless entry with immobilizer) so they might do the same with the Mobilio. This will jack up the price. Sana lang they can strip it down para pumasok naman sa competition. Meron pa nga ako narinig na SA dati sabi niya 'sir pati amoy niyang Brio amoy City' hindi daw kagaya sa toyota pag Wigo iba daw amoy kesa Vios. Hehehe

April 19th, 2015 03:27 AM #7Hondas are great vehicles. I still have one and it's now 15 yrs old but nakakasuka na parkinggan yun premium pricing coz it's a Honda, Honda wake up, your only model selling now is the honda city.
Civic, CRV will join the fate of accord. Even the jazz name is fading. Dati household name yun mga car models na since late 90's up til the 2010
The upcoming HRV may replace the CRV as the city replaced civic. Sorry, Honda your delusions are over, pricing those Brios and amaze at 100k more than the completion is just one delusion of grandeur
Mini Mpvs are not really popular to drive as the carens and the liviina failed to leave a good footprint in that market segment. Just do a Suzuki, for me Suzukis are the new dark horse for they offer value for money, and stil they are Japanese controlled quality

Ford kasi... it needs a lot of TLC. ;) Kidding aside, I don't know if other turbo vehicles have...
