The City is priced reasonably. Yes, still on the high side for a subcompact, but its arguably the most loaded, sans the Fiesta Ecoboost (which is more expensive).

Which is probably why the City is the only Honda model selling like hotcakes right now.

I agree, I thought before with Honda releasing Brio & Amaze it would compete with Mirage and Wigo it turns out malayo ang price range.. kaya balewala rin. Baka ganun din tong Mobilio.

Honda's prcing is always higher than competition but hopefully not too high. Compared with avanza, i think this mpv looks much better. Well, the ertiga is actually better looking than the avanza.

Ertiga - 619K - 812K
Avanza - 639K - 757K (1.3 engine) , 837K - 877K (1.5 engine)

Ertiga is having decent sales primarily due to pricing and specs, but since the Suzuki footprint in the market is very small, Honda might have chosen to battle the best selling Avanza 1.5. Although we know for a fact that 1.3 sells better than 1.5 due to price.

I guess I will agree with you and stand corrected, possible nga langawin to. Another indirect competition is the Ecosport due to price.

We should have bought Mobilio, kaso nga lang it will take us 2-3 months pa para makuha yung unit. Na-short sa production. I'm kind of disappointed rin for their inability to deliver satisfatorily yung kanilang mina-market.

We'll be looking at a 2nd hand grandis pansamantala, coz we're planning on backing out and getting our 5k reservation back (malamang pahirapan pa to) sa sobrang tagal ng mobilio na yan. Then we'll decide on what other new unit to get. 3 and a half months waiting, sobra naman yan! Ang masasabi ko lang for my parting words ay...ampanget ng mobilio na yan! Haha bitter ba?
