Mga bro.... any tips driving a CVT... like pano pag uphill and downhill... medyo bago lang ako sa automatic lalo na ang CVT engine... iba daw ang handle sa cvt compare to normal automatic engine
You don't have to give CVT car a lot of gas going uphill, 1500 to 2000 rpm is enough to climb. It will even speed up, up shift, while maintaining constant rpm. Downhill just ease on the gas and it will slow down through engine break. If you wish to slow down more downhill just break a little and release and it will stay on that speed usually, unless the hill is quiet steep wherein you'll need to assist the engine break with your break.
CVT is a type of transmission. Continuously Variable Transmission, meaning it has no gears. It's design to be fuel efficient. Just drive normally, you'll get used to it. Read the owner's manual also.
