Welcome to AUTOBISYO Car Accessories | Official Website
oo sir, ganon nga po price sa website, actually, tumawag ako una, 1800 daw last price, eh nung nakapag decide nako, wala ako sa office, pinatawag ko wife ko dahil nasa office sya at may landline sya, nung sya na nag order, 1,400 nalang bigla yung price without shipping, kung pa ship mo +150 for LBC/Air21/any other shipping companies, kung meetup naman sa makati +100.
Whew,,6 months ago price of collinite 476s from autobisyo was only 700 pesos plus 100 pesos shipping when i bought it, now more than double its price..autogeek tag price now is only 16 USD...
Supply and demand. We're recently seeing more people who are getting interested in detailing their vehicles, and when they go to the detailing thread here in tsikot, or the pinoydetailing forum, the usual recommendation is Collinite, as it is one of the most durable waxes you'll be able to buy. Also, even at its current price, it's still a better bargain than Mothers or Megs products, which are more expensive and don't last as long.
honestly sir twice ko palang sya nagamit, nung una pinalagay ko lang, yung ikalawa ako naglagay. nung ako na naglagay, after ko nalagyan buong kotse, tinanggal ko na, it took me 10mins to coat the whole car, and more than 1hour kameng dalwa ni misis to take it off. sobrang hirap tanggalin netong 476s. yung kapal is normal kapal pag nagwawax, just a little haze and okay na, just like dun sa Tamang OC thread sa detailing section check it out nalang. you can use the wax for a whole year if twice or once a month mo lang gagamitin, sobrang nipis lang kase talaga kailangan, and yung pinsan ko gumagamit din neto, he said you should just apply it first to one panel tapos tanggalin mo na kagad sabi nya, kase pag tumagal ng ilang minuto, it will be difficult to take it off, at sa sobrang pagpunas mo na para lang matanggal eh parang tinatanggal mo narin clearcoat mo, hindi nga ninipisin nung wax clearcoat mo, pero yung pagtanggal mo ng wax eh parang yung mismong basahan mo na magpapanipis sa clearcoat mo.
anyway that was last week, last night I washed my car, no waxing, kase ayoko na mapagod pa, pero after drying it up, parang bagong wax parin, hehehe!I guess okay talaga sya, to think na naka 400kilometers ako non with sun and rain still maganda parin results

sir just a question, di ko alam kung OC lang ako sobra noh, as I've said on my post above, last night I washed my car at sobrang kitab parin, pero parang nawala beading nya, 1week palang ako nung last ako nag wax eh. may mga nag beads, pero sa hood ko hindi na nag beads, pero kagad natuyo, I really don't know how to check talaga kung andyan pa wax o wala na talaga. Can you show more examples other than beading? tapos based on your experiences, how long will collinite last? thanks po!![]()
It's pretty easy to tell if a panel still has wax or not, as long as you don't mind getting it a little wet. Make sure you've cleaned the car properly (as dust, dirt and road film will affect the wax's beading and sheeting properties). Then, using either an open-ended hose (no attachments) or even just a bottle of water, pour water onto the panel. A panel that still has protection will sheet the water off, so that only a few drops will be left, while on a panel without protection, the water will lie flat (if it's horizontal) or sheet very very slowly (if it's vertical). Here's an example:
Notice how quickly the right side sheets water off, compared to the unwaxed left side, which pools the water before moving it slowly off the surface.
Now on application, here's what I've written previously regarding how to apply 476 (and indeed, most waxes):
Regarding durability, a lot of factors will affect it - how often and how far the car is driven, the area where it's driven, where it's parked, and how it's maintained. However, you should be easily be seeing 3 to 4 weeks durability for 476, even longer depending on the maintenance. You have to apply it really really thin - if you can easily see the wax residue, it's not thin enough. A little goes a long way, so no need to keep on reloading your applicator pad - if you're not sure whether there's any product left, swipe it against your window to check. Also, don't apply to the whole car before buffing off - instead, buff off once it has begun to dry and haze. What a lot of people do is apply to two panels, then go back and buff the first panel. After that, apply to another panel, then remove from the second panel, and so on - just make sure you use the swipe test to check if the wax is dry.
Thank you very much for that information sir, akala ko kase beading lang yung signs, anyway, tama sir, pagka buhos ko nga ng tubig, parang di nabuhusan, actually sir, pag weekends lang talaga nagagamit yung kotse, my car is parked in our condo, basement parking sya, di man naa alikabukan talaga, minsan lumalabas ako ng gabi, in short siguro mga 6hours a week lang sya na aarawan, minsan nga lang umuulan pag paluwas ako, pero dahil sa nlex yon, pagdating ko ng condo, parang d man naulanan, my car is 4 weeks old on wednesday, twice nako nag apply ng collinite. tama lang po ba maintenance ko? balak ko kase once a month mothers CCW, then twice a month ako collinite for rain protection talaga. okay po ba i layer yung collinite sa mothers CCW? kase yung once a month ko na CCW parang panlinis ko nalang talaga ng mga contaminants, so pag naglagay ako ng mothers CCW, isusunod ko sana yung collinite parang pinanlinis ko yung mothers then topcoat nya is collinite, okay lang po ba yon?
TIA po!![]()
Should be ok to layer the 476 on top of the cleaner wax, no issues there. Heh, given na weekends lang nagagamit yung car, I'd say that applying twice a month is already overkillNothing wrong with using it too often, just might not be as economical - just my opinion. In fact, I'd think you'd be fine going something like this:
Week 1: cleaner wax + 476
Week 2: wash
Week 3: wash + booster spray wax (Meg's UQW or Optimum Car Wax are pretty durable on their own)
Week 4: wash
Week 5: wash + booster spray wax (Meg's UQW or Optimum Car Wax are pretty durable on their own)
Week 6: wash
Then repeat. Heck, maybe even this:
Week 1: cleaner wax + 476
Week 2: wash
Week 3: wash
Week 4: wash + booster spray wax (Meg's UQW or Optimum Car Wax are pretty durable on their own)
Week 5: wash
Week 6: wash
The first one is how I'm currently doing it, except I use Poli-Seal or KAIO (instead of Mothers cleaner wax) and Opti-Seal (instead of 476). But again though, you should be fine with your current regimen.

Sir, yung cleaner wax + 476 may curing time po ba before mag layer?
then sa wash, kung pa carwash ko kase may sabon sila ginagamit, okay lang po ba yon? or dapat water lang?
TIA sir!![]()
The cleaner wax would have a curing time - give it four hours before applying 476. Then again though, since you're using the cleaner wax primarily as a cleaner, I guess it's not that big a deal to have the solvents in 476 dissolve it. As for washing, you should always use a good car shampoo - water alone doesn't have enough lubricity. However, it should be a car shampoo, not just any soap or dish washing detergent, as these can strip wax.
