City driving for me is included the moderate to heavy traffic.

    Salamat!
in my technical opinion i'd go for city. syempre ano ba mga factors sa pagcompute ng efficiency, una una weight. civic is heavier than city. more mass more inertia more energy required to move. more energy more fuel consumption. kung most of the time e magisa k lng naman then city is for you. pero para saken lang naman yun haha. wait na lng naten opinion ng mga master naten dyan.

We recently got a 2020 City Sport and my FC is 6-8 KM/L (city driving). I was not expecting na ganito lang kababa FC niya despite the reviews I saw online before we purchased it. Worst FC recorded was from Pasig to BGC and it was 4 KM/L.

Will these numbers go up after 1st PMS?

    it will go up. eventually.
in my old sentra, it took me over 10K km, for that km/li figure to go up from 6-7, to 10.
i was also dis-heartened at first, thinking i had gotten a lemon.

Sa SiR if you shift it around 2-3.5k rpm pareho lang sa VTi fuel consumption nya. Pag nasa Vteczone ka lagi (5500rom and above) dun tataas consumption mo.

    mine consume about 9-11 km/liter.

i should say may gusto ko na yung vti. malakas naman siya in terms of horsepower.

comparing the two, there is 21hp discrepancy kaya medyo malakas ang konsumo ng vti, kapalit ng horsepower.

i don't know pero when the time comes, bibili ako ng vti and will test it myself. :D

My 97 vti has 9-11 on city and 13-14 on the h-way. Just accelerate nicely and smoothly.

    Kyahib,

sir let me suggest some advice:

    1. tune-up and regular maintenance schedule.
    2. keep a correct tire pressure.
    3.accelerate smoothly no 'jackrabbit' starts.
    4. keep your engine speed at power bands (2000 to 3000 rpm).
5.brake smoothly, abrupt stops can contribute to excessive fuel consumption.

there is more. i will post it maybe tommorow.

    ok?

ser ano ba in general sa tingin nyo mas matipid? im planning on buying a 99 mdl civic. pero ang gusto ko yung mas matipid sa gas. kung idesregard yung power difference between the two cars, tapos given na same ang driving conditions, ano ang mas matipid, lxi or vti? dami ko na kasi choices at nasisilaw ako sa setup. may effect ba sa consumpyion ng gas yung mga setup? pls shed some light on this kasi nabenta ko na mga auto ko at kailangan ko na bumili kasi wala ako magamit na transpo. and if you can, pls email me at jergwapo*yahoo.com kasi mas madalas ako magcheck ng email. thanks guys.

    yup, aircon is always on.

did not try to compare with the vti but i guess in the city, mas matipid ang lxi. pag pure highway drive na siguro lalamang ng konti ang vti. pero konti lang siguro.

    Sup all!

I'd jus like to ask the FC for a:

    Ride: Honda CRV 2.0 automatic
    Displacement: 2.0
    Engine Configuration: SOHC i-VTEC, Water-Cooled, 16-Valve
    Fuel Consumption:
    -City:???
    -Highway:???

    Thanks and more power!
