I've seen a lot of ads of these cars for sale in the visayas/mindanao region.

anybody got any idea whether they're good or completell legal?

I think B-plates from cagayan are ok if you are going to use them in the manila area primarily. some even come in 4-wheel drive. my friend has one pero personally i think you are much better off with a well kept local jazz quality wise and i don't think the price is that much far off between the two. hth

iniisip ko din kumuha nito, para daily drive at tipid sa gas.

ang hindi ko lang alam kung paano i-check ang conversion nito. may welding ba involved gaya nung mga pajero? or straight palit ng steering gearbox from rhd to lhd?

The 4AT isn't as economical as the CVT... though probably a bit more durable.

You're better off getting a local MT City if you're worried about fuel economy.
