    Hi all,
I just changed my civic fd for a 2008 crv.
It is 2.0 2x4 automatic with electronic power steering.
    I am having 2 problems.
milage is 96k and I just changed 3 mounts which were all broken.car was vibrating like crazy.
1)changed left mount, right mount and 1 transmission mount. Is there any more mounts? Car is still vibrating at idle... And it's idleing at 400-500rpm is this normal?

    2) when changing from N to D, there is 1 sec delay and thrb a bad jerk from transmission. I thought it is because of the mount but it stikk remains even after changing....

    hi,
i seeked some professional help. they said the knocking sound is from the electronic rack and pinion.
and the jerk is from the transmission.

15k for the rack and pinion seals and 45k for transmission rekit and repair..... does this sound good? thanks

I suggest you to go step by step, eliminate the simple and cheap problems first.

Stock engine is right, have it scanned first.

Dr D is right, how can you have a rack and Pinion problem if the CRV is not EPS?

45k tranny rekit and repair... Very expensive to me... Try changing the ATF first, with the right ATF grade, if this can handle Dexron 3, my recommendation is Eneos D3 ATF (corrected my 2014 Ford Everest's notorious shift shock), this will cost you around P270 per Liter + P300 labor.

As for the supports, the most I've seen is 3 supports, all of which you said you've replaced. So move forward.

Yes the RPM is too low for any vehicle. A scan will guide you best.

    1) My crv is 2. 0 and this variant comes with Eps po.
So the latest news is I rebushed the rack and pinion and now the knocking noise on rough road is gone. First shop gave a price of 15k then second shop 13k then third 9500 and then finally one guy did it for 5k.

    2) I changed the spark plugs and checked the throttle body, it's super clean. Next I put the car on OBD scanner and there are no codes at all. Yet the car idles at 400-500rpm. Car doesn't stop or anything, just some annoying vibrations on idle....

    3) I found a shop in banawe who is willing to repair my auto tranny for 30k... Not sure if this is a good deal?
I was thinking to try to flush the ATF but all the mechanics saying that this sort of jerk is related to clutch problem not Atf....

Did you have throttle body and idle control valve cleaned before? ... Did the mechanic perform idle relearning? ... Check online on how to perform idle relearning ...

OEM Engine Mounts are water filled rubber mounts. While replacement are rubber only. Make sure you buy OEM.

Decided to try gaspar pilapil's services. repair of EPS alone will cost you 5k. Had my tie rods and rack ends repaired also, 850 each, total or 4 heads = 3.4k. Replaced the stabilizer links as well, (replacement)2.4k pair. All work done for 10.8k. So far so good.

After a week, may noise s left side ng suspension. I suspected it to be the balljoint. Went back to gaspar to have it checked. True enough it was the balljoint. Had it repaired. 900*. Left and right side. Nice quiet ride again!

Good pm sirs, i have a crv gen 3 2.0l variant, r20a engine a/t. Nag blink po ung "D". Had it scanned. Lumabas po P0843 code. Need to replace the transmission pressure switch A (2nd clutch). I have ordered the part already. Meron po ba nakakaalam kung san exact location nya? Meron ako nakikita on top of the transmission with a blue green tab, im guessing un sya. Wala kc ako mahanap videos sa internet. Puro civic and crv k24s lng meron videos about it. Thanks in advance po sa makakapagbigay info. Keep safe.
