    mga sir, share ko lang...

    i recently bought lowering tein and gas shocks then i returned sa coilovers kasi yun isang side (front left) mas mababa sa front right ko. i searched sa hcp kung pano resolve issue. yun pala talagang ganon lang when it comes sa model ng cars natin (ek civic 96-00).

    kung may balak kayo palower car niyo, coils na lang para kayang pantayin yung stance ng oto. kahit taiwan and matagtag, hindi naman tabingi tignan. kala ko may sira na yung oto ko pero ganon pala halos lahat ng nakaEK version.

    sayang tuloy tein ko, i had to sell it less 2k then the orig price.

    yun lang po.

    yeah this goes as well for eg model lowering spring gamit ko d nga pantay pero maliit na difference lang and sakin...

    san makakabili ng coils na reliable and be able to correct this problem?

    if you want the cheap lang, taiwan r type gamit ko... not as comfortable as the tein's and hnr's pero ok na din. sa evangelista meron dun... as far as i can remember mga 6.5k ata give or take...

    sa banawe 5k yung r type, nagtanong na din ako nyan kaya lang nagdalawang isip ako magpa lowered..

    Sir, balak ko ipa drop ung auto ko.. stock ung shock and springs ko.. nag upgrade na din ako ng rim 17" ang gulong ko 215/45/r17.. anu ba magandang brand na lowering springs and approximate price nya saka ilan inches na drop kaya ang bagay sa rim 17" ung di sasayad na sa fender... tenks.

    sir, ok yung tein or HnR na lowering. mga 10k -12k per set yun. pero mas ok ng coils na lang gamitin mo kasi hindi papantay yung left front mo sa right front... based on experience. yung gamit ko coils na r type, taiwan made. 6.5k ata kuha ko (give or take) mga 3 years ago.

    ang ok sa coils is kaya mo adjust sa specified height na gusto mo. dati 0 inch gap ako then yung nababaan ako, ng plus 1 inch para hindi sayad gaano, DIY lang.

    gandang drop sa 17's mga 1.5 inches para kumonte ang fender gap.

    btw, gwapo ng mags niyo sir...

    OT: Archie 6.5k yung apat na coils? mura naman ata.

    coil overs pala sorry... r type na yung brand... matagtag talaga pero ok na din for budget meals... hehehe

    kung meron pa nung Neuspeed "Green" 1.5in drop ok na brand din yun. makinis ang takbo. tama lang ang baba. I bought mine at around 11kphp (year 1999) sold it second hand 5k when i decided to sell my civic.

    Nakabili kase ako ng second hand na honda eg na lowered na. paano ko kaya malalaman kung adjustable yung coilovers na nakainstall?

    sir silipin mo lang yung springs if may parang screw inside, and dapat may kasamang lyabe na pang adjust yun.

    Kyb shocks tapos maxspeed lowering springs, un nakakabit sakin ngaun, smooth ang takbo den maganda ang
    Drop ng kotse, gastos ko lahat2x 12k. Tapos add ako 10.5k, palit lahat solid bushing. Parang brandnew manakbo kotse.

    meron ako 1996 civic lxi balak ko pa lowered, all stock sya. balak ko sana lowering spring gamitin kaso nabasa ko thread mo tabingi pala civic may nabasa din akong isang thread na tabingi din civic nya, parang nagdadalawang isip na tuloy ako mag lowering spring, kung coilovers kaya pwede ba all stock pa din?
    yung ride nyo ok pa din ba wala bang nasira.........dko na tuloy alam kung lowering spring or coilovers gagamitin ko hehe or putol nalang kaya :D (naguluhan lalo :D)

    lowering spring - tabingi kapag civic
    coilovers- adjustable pero matagtag
    putol- matagtag

    naguguluhan na ako :D hehe

    Napansin ko lang na matagal na tong thread, pero sa tingin ko very informative ang nilalaman nito lalo na sa mga balak mag lowered ng ek/eg nila kaya sarap bihayin..pa ride na rin sir archie.. naka-bili kasi ako ng eibach lowering spring, 2ndhand pero maayos pa naman. diko pa nga lang naipapakabit kasi nag-iipon pako pang bili ng kyb gas shocks para isang kabitan na lang kunsakali ang tanong ko lang po, gaano kalaki kaya ine-negative ng rear wheel ko pag naglower ako 15's ang rims at 195-55-15s ung wheels ko. para kasing ang gastos na ata masyado kung bibili pa ako ng camber kit sa rear ko parang lang ma-correct ang camber ko. ayun lang at thanks in advance na rin

    anyway to answer the questions here, i had 4 sets of lowering during my ek days.

    taiwan coilover = sobrang tagtag pero cheapest way to lower the car. tama yung stance but you would wish you were dead in edsa or startoll. haha also, bumababa paunti unti kaya adjust every month or so. you can keep the orig shock and just get gas shocks pag bumigay na. bobottom out ka lang kung matinding lubak.

    neuspeed green = best for comfort, little to no difference sa stock ride. but the stance is still off. best to put 1 inch lifters sa rear para hindi parang nakatingala yung oto

    tein lowering = hindi tumagal sakin, did not like it at all.

    maxspeed coilover = best of both world but expensive. hindi papantay sa neuspeed green yung comfort but way better sa taiwan. matatama yung stance. you can adjust how hard or soft the ride is.

    hindi kailangan ng camber kit yung rear kung hindi naman nenegative ng sagaran. kaya macorrect yung stock.

    my advise, depende pa rin kung saan gusto niyo, comfort or stance. kung may budget, maxspeed is the best.
