January 3rd, 2015 05:49 PM #1Hi and Happy New Year!
I'm planning to sell our Honda CRV 2006 MT, but I need to have it repaired first. After I start the ignition, on the first gear, the car experiences a dragging motion, but it goes well after that. I had it checked in a local mechanic and was advised that it's the Oxygen Sensor. They estimated P39,900.00 for the replacement of the Oxygen Sensor plus labor. Do you know a reliable and trustworthy mechanic shop where I can bring my car to have a second opinion and much lower cost on the repair and labor? Preferably in QC area.
Appreciate your help.
Thanks.

May aso ba kayo? The o2 sensor nasa ilalim. Pa scan mo yan at pag ang trouble is open wire. Dugtong lang yan
Happened to our 03 crv and a beagle.

January 5th, 2015 03:31 AM #7Hi I advice you to go to honda dealer near you so they can check the real problem ska para malaman mo n din un mga dapat ausin o palitan tpos pag may list at estimated repair cost try mo n mag check sa iba mechanic shop pero wag mo muna sbhn kung anu un nakuha ng mismong honda dealer dpt mahanap nila un mga problem n nahanap ni dealer sa crv mo tpos pag tugma pa estimate mo n check which is cheaper sometimes mas cheap pa sa dealer kesa sa mga shop o kya onti lng difference.

Any shop with an OBDII scanner can pull out the error code from that check engine light. Much better to get that error code para you will know which o2 sensor is failing. Most cars have more than 1 sensor, baka yung pagquote nya is for all sensors kaya mahal. I recommend a couple of shops in QC, one is in Katipunan, Forcedspeed and another one near SM North, Fixstop. Both owned by Jeff De Leon, a respected Honda guy, tuner and specialist.
