saan area mo? sa north... motor craft banawe or speedy fix sa pasig
sa south... hongly pitworkz sa sucat

with the brakes, kung maingay most probably palit brake pads tapos Kapaain yung rotor, if Madame na line marks, re face or mas madali palitan din rotor. mura lang naman rotor. halos kasing price ng re face.

north sir. yes, option ko nga is speedy fix.

Mga bossing I also own a 99' civic tanong ko lang what are the obvious signs of a busted rear trailing arm bushing? May naririnig po kasi ako sa likod na parang squeak na parang kalabog pag nalubak. Baka rear trailing arm bushing yun?

sir i need an info. i got a hand to an old honda civic 1993 esi. im not really familiar with hondas, pasensya po. nong tinignan ko engine, hindi na un ung original engine. instead a japan po8 civic engine was installed. i think its larger. i modified the kickdown cable because d original cable was short for the large engine. ang prob ko po e ung computer box nong original engine is not compatible ata dun sa engine installed kaya ung vtec ko hindi gumagana. may iba po bang paraan kung paano paganahin ito without buying a new comp box? pd ko po na i bypass ung vtec nya and will always in on position kaso d ko alam kung ano magiging effect sa engine and sa fuel comsumption ko. maraming salamat po sa magbibigay ng insights.. good day mga sir.

Buhayin ko lang yung thread, what are the other possible cause for "kalampag"? Replaced stabilizer links, shocks are okay and the tie rods are okay and tight. I can hear "kalampag" when I run the car on a concrete road with some rocky portions, no "kalampag" on uneven or humps. Ride is 2000 Vti. Thanks for the inputs.

What I know about the Honda Civic 1999, 2000+ (All with SIR Body)

    1. LXi
    - Engine 1.5L SOHC non-VTEC
    - No fog lamps

    2. VTi
    - Engine 1.6L SOHC VTEC-E
    - Has fog lamps

    3. VTi RS (Same on #2 +cosmetic)
    - Engine 1.6 SOHC VTEC-E
    - Has fog lamps

    4. SIR
    - Engine 1.6L DOHC VTEC B16a?
    - Has fog lamps

I am reviewing the three variants, so at least I know what to look at. My transmission option is AT, since my wife will drive it too. Any, other things I need to check on those years? and on the variants?

I know, I should stay away from a heavily modified car, baka it was raced before. And parts may need to be replaced, unless it was replaced na. If automatic, how come mas madali masira eto? I know about wear n tear, but not sure which parts might need to be replaced din, para in-tip top condition ung tranny for AT.

Costing is around 200k to 250k

    Salamat!
Better go for the VTi variant. I have 1 and it average 8 to 10 km/l mix driving. Automatic din. Makakahanap ka ng VTi na pormado worth 180 to 220k.
