Honda City IDS-I

may nakikita din akong Honda Civic VTi pero yung tail light nya same sa VTi-S, almost same specs din po ba yun?
sa mga nakikita kong sa classifieds like sa sulit.com, around P300k to P350k usually ang selling price, tama po ba yun? then why kaya most are Automatic transmission?
Thanks!

the vti-s series is known as the dimension body civic, or the civic es type. came out 01 to 05/6. the vti only variant has no passenger side airbag, the vti-s has this airbag. 1.6 liter daw pero theres gossip na it has almost 1700cc.
consistent 9-10 km/liter in the city. 10-11 highway on 100 kph cruising speed. my vti-s is an automatic.
extremely reliable car, quite well put together. di nga lang kasing porma ng older or newer civics but well di naman ibibigay sayo lahat ng japanese manufacturers.
cant comment on the city bec i dont own one, pero rode in one at mas maliit talaga sa loob neto kesa sa civic.

April 24th, 2011 08:03 PM #3Hi! thanks po sa info
So, Honda Civic VTI-S, 2001-2006 model, 1.6 engine, also called dimension body and es Civic.
Actually I like looks of this model, specially the tail light which looks like of a Lancer Pizza, but over all looks a lot newer.
Dami ko po nakikita nito sa sulit.com, price range around P300K to P400K, depends yata sa year ng car. Napansin ko lang din kasi same price range sya nung Honda City IDSi.

440k for the City is too steep. hanap ka pa po ng around 300-350k na low mileage. dami dyan. i have the 2006 City pero yung 1.5 vtec. if you're after the fuel consumption, my city gives me 12-13km/L city driving and much higher pa pag highway.
and i agree, roomier yung civic sa loob so it all depends sa priorities mo.

June 7th, 2011 10:02 PM #8Ako naka civic 03 manual, umaabot ako ng 11km/L on caltex silver.
naka 17" rims pa yun, then air filter and straight pipe.
Kung plan mo mag set-up, kahit onti lang. civic nalang.
Choice I would have made as well.
