May 21st, 2013 04:17 PM #1gud pm masters of honda,,pls help me to my honda civic vtec,96 model,manual,,the problem is hard to start,and when it start,thye gas needle or rpm is unstable then it automaticaly shut off engine,,the mechanic said first is the fuel pump,,nxt is the crank sensor,,and if the two said is not done,,last option is the computer box,,how come it happen?before it happen,ill use the car well,
my question again is,,how much is that cost if the crank sensor plus the computer box is the damage?
any one help me pls for some use3full advbise

have it scanned first to get the actual na sira.
mahirap manghula, malaki laki gagastusin mo eh.

bro, nag off ba engine pag ni on mo a/c? in case yes try mo palinis yung servo mo. also baka sobra dumi na ng air filter mo have it replaced for starters.

May 21st, 2013 04:57 PM #4sir kahit po patay no buhay ang a/c nag off sya lalo na po pag pigain ko gas,tatas ang rpm then derocho off sya,,sabi ng mekaniko ay crank sensor daw.

ang problem kasi is hindi sure kung ano talaga ang sira eh.
pano kung nagpalit ka na ng fuel pump at hindi pa din nasosolve ang problem? so papalit ka naman ng crank sensor..... eh pano kung di dun? pano kung electrical-related pala?
so appropriate action is to have it scanned muna.
depending on your location, madaming nag eengine scan. much better if you can provide your actual location para may ma refer kami na service provider nun.

check the basic stuff first. diagnosis first before repairs. do not guess. digitize your tests (meaning: put numbers into all your tests). check engine vacuum. check compression, check fuel pump pressure and fuel volume past the fuel filter. check the exhaust for restriction. if the crank sensor was bad, the engine won't even start. if the pcm was bad, the engine will not start.mechanic A says the computer is bad, mechanic B says the crank sensor is bad. who is right?
A. A only
B. B only
C. Both A and B
D. Neither A nor B.
you be the judge.
find a competent technician and obtain his/her numerical findings using gauges and instruments not "scientific wild ass guesses" or hula. unless he/she is hawaiian, he/she will do the hula:jeanie:
