Honda Civic SiR [Merged]

may nakita akong HONDA SiR 99 model,430k for me, super kinis, alaga, tried the engine, tahimik pag idle(like a cats soun when praying a victim-brrrrrrrrmmmmm),no dents, no heavy mods(as ive checked it all over).
only problem is in the central door locks, a little glitch na ayaw magsara yung isang door in the rear,but has a neat feature that when you start the engine, all the doors locks auto.(biLib ) pero sabi ng kausap ko "madali lang ayusin yan".


please give me its true value and if its a genuine "HONDA CIVIC SIR-99"

This car has been repainted. How do I know?

1. SiR's in 1999 only came in 3 colors. Nighthawk Black, Passion Orange, and Championship White. In 2000 they introduced Sunburst Yellow and Formula Red.
2. Check out the rear doors. There are no DOHC VTEC stickers.

Tip: check out HCP's selling section. They have a 2000 SiR selling for 410k, all stock (except for the air filters), factory paint. The seller is even a bonafide member. Only thing is, it's Passion Orange.

Ganda yan a! Just bring a good mechanic with you, it always helps to have someone look objectively, kasi pag type mo car marami kang na-ooverlook it can cloud your better judgement. Chances are if it's an Sir medyo na abuso na makina nyan so be wary.

Katukin mo rin lightly yung kaha, it'll make a non metal thug if heavily filled yung body.

Any 15inch aftermarket wheels (maybe black or gun-metal grey)

The wheels is to change the look from the stock wheels but minimize the cost by re-using the existing R15 tires. Or you can go 16" wheels and tires if you have the budget.

And then stop here.

You will be looking at a budget of at least 25K or more for the hood and trunk carbon fiber panels. 15" wheels might be P12K and up (Rota wheels are suggested because they are affordable and have popular styles.)

juz give it a SPOON looks...CF hood, CF chin, CF trunk (kung may budget), CF spoon side mirror, 15 or 16 in. spoon rims, spoon decals...and kung anak mayaman eh i-SPOON FED mo na din..bangis non pag girl ang nagdala..pramis! hehe..

the SIR is already a good looking car at its stock form. though you can add/change window tints and rims according to your preference.

VTi = SOHC VTEC, rear antenna/automatic, rear brake is drum

LXi = Non-VTEC, front antenna/manual, rear brake is drum

concerning the local p6zd1 engine of the SiR, is 8000 really the max rpm? i heard B16's max reaches 8200 with the rev limiter kickn at 8500..

i thought B16's and p6zd1's are the same except for the code thanks Vtec expert's D

May Thailand model na Civic na K20 pero RHD sya. Di pa transplant yun as in nilabas talaga ng Honda Thailand.

New Civic ES *SHOULD* be moving to the K20 platform, although I wouldn't know what HCPI's plans are. I'm thinking eventually the local market will get the K20 because the older D15s and D17s are nearing the end of their production life. Probably after new taxation laws come into effect that don't automatically slap a heavy tax for having 2.0li of displacement.

If it has rear discs then it's most probably an SiR. :D

not necessarily... meron na rin kase yung rear discs sa surplus... I know this civic owner once na akala mo SIR talaga pero pag bukas mo hood LXi engine pala. Kuhang kuha yung exterior everything from decals to emblems pati rear discs hehe.
