Power, ride and comfort all goes to the Civic, for maintenance wise, although Civic parts are expensive but they are easily sourced than the Ford plus re-sale value of the Civic is way higher than the Ford Lynx.

Better yet, post this thread to the Ford forums and see what Lynx owners have to say. That way you can get the pros and cons of the Lynx and balance out the biases you can expect from Civic and Lynx people.

I for one would get the Lynx RS rather than the VTi, bit it's way too expensive for and out of the competition.

But between an LSi or GSi and the Honda, sa Honda na siyempre...
Proven reliability goes with the Civic tag. Ang Lynx kasi is trying to establish its keep pa. But I heard you can expect MAF errors from the Lynx due to its ultra-sensitivy fuel map sensors (similar cons for with the Sentra EFIs)...

ang ganda pa rin ng hatak...yun iba kasi hindi marunong mag-alaga
ng sasakyan ang alam lang ay mag drive kaya nasisiraan sila kung
