Squeaky Clutch pedal? madali lang yan....also happened to my Civic ESi 5M/T. ngayon also happening to my other rides. normal talaga yan kahit sa ano mang makes of Manual Tranny - i think.

anyway back to topic, when it happened to my Civic. i made my own solution. just use lots of good ol grease in two different locations.

    1) Cabin side: just after the Brake Pedal there's a piston rod that pushes the brake fluid.... lubricate that area...

    2) Engine side: follow the hydraulic link or connection from the Clutch fluid reservoir to the Cylinder, to the pipe or fluid line that goes to the tranny. normally inside there's going to be a mechanical actuator that pushes or releases the clutch.... and its covered with some rubber grommet material. lubricate inside it, just use your fingers to get inside the moving part. don't worry u won't hurt yourself.

then just press the pedal a few times and it should be ok...

Enjoy a squeak free clutch pedal!

You can get the black ones for much cheaper (mas ok kung black yung kotse mo hehe)

Those sa banawe/evangelista shops would do. I don't think there's much variation between backup sensors anyway. Just make sure magaling sila magwire. Kung panget yung gawa, baka masunog pa yung kotse (THIS HAS HAPPENED ON FDs!).

I'd prefer the body colored ones though, kung may pera sana hehe.
Oo nga, i never thought about the risks of electrical fire. Tipid-tipid nga, nawala naman lahat. any recommendation on which shops will do the job well at reasonable cost? thanks.

Not sure eh. Maybe some other members can give suggestions on that.

From what I've picked up though, don't ever have your wirings done by freelance 'sidewalk' electricians especially along banawe. Sila yung malala.

    Personally, on my car -
I had my 'black' back-up sensors done sa casa back when they had their promo. 14k ata all-in with a set of foglamps for my 2006 1.8S A/T.

Tanong mo yung casa magkano yung Honda "Approved" backup sensor. 4-5k lang yata. I got that one instead of the "Genuine" Honda sensor you mentioned.

Kung sa porma talaga, I'd get the body colored ones instead hahaha

Thanks for the tips, but from what I've read/heard, the clutch problem for the M/T FD is a design flaw.

Noisy clutches are not supposed to happen on basically a brand new car (2300kms on the odometer).
