i have some scratches on my black honda civic. any suggested shops for repair of paint? preferrably those in QC and manila. nakakalungkot tingnan e. hehe. sobrang hirap pala nitong black.
on topic, is it just me or are there more black civics on the road than other colors?
and where can i possibly go to change my front grille to a more sporty one.
thanks a lot.
blue ice,
i also have the black one, yeah it is true. it is so hard to maintain a black one but it is really nice to see on the road though. but roughly there are more silver, blue silver on the road coz it is much easier to maintain. scratches are not seen much on those colors.
actually my fd was 4 days old and has a scratch na on the driver side, somebody must have tripped on it. minor lng naman kaya ng wax siguro. re sa grille, mas ok ngang palitan, ewan ko lang kung san.
re sa paint ko, try ko pa retouch sa casa, my konting mapa din kasi mga half inch swerte at my katabing scratch, papasabay ko na lang cguro yun. hope i would get it free of charge, sinabi ko na naman sa agent ko un.
bankai,
agent ko si marie, sales talk, wala naman masyado, maasikaso lang sya.

What is the disadvantage if the civic had soft seats? there must be a reason for these hard seats right?
Saan po may affordable car accesories like window gutter, spoiler, pipe finisher etc. for our 2007CIvic. Peferred ko near Alabang Town Center or HCPI Alabang, pa service kase ko tomorrow dun. Thank you
Siguro the best option na for us is just to put leather covers or some sort of soft cushion...
Been choosing between the Civic and MZ3 hatch for a month.. Test drive both.. pero I find ang advantage ng MZ3 is the more comfortable seats at smoother A/T..
Baka kasi test unit lang may problem, pero ganun ba talaga seats ng Civic? parang may tumutusok sa likod mo? Another thing is hinataw ko 1.8S A/T kanina and the shift shock was terrible.. arangkada sya and suddenly slows down to shift.. then sudden surge of power..medyo kakahilo. If this is not normal, then I will request for another test drive unit. thanks.
i have a 1.8S A/T acquired in oct2007.
up to now hindi ko pa rin kabisado ang behavior ng transmission nito kasi at times pag mabilis nako at bitawan ko lang sandali ang gas pedal, parang nalimutan na ng car na mabilis nako at parang nagdownshift na sya agad or something to that effect. saka parang may lag time bago sya bumilis from the time na apakan ko ang gas pedal. hindi nga sya ganun ka-smooth.
altho, pag nakuha ng car that you pressed a little hard on the gas pedal, after about a second, hahataw na sya.
i dont know if it's just me but i prefer our kia and toyota older automatics than this.
as for the seats, tigas talaga. hirap din ako sa blind spot ng driver-side pillar. i really have to look at the side window or move my head forward to get a good look that there's nothing on my left before i turn.
5 holes na yung mga wheels. This can't be the new civic...maybe the new accord
it seems the upcoming civic isn't going to be very popular among tsikoteers
but one guy from another forum thinks on the positive side....."However, I spent a whole day driving today, and I saw cars whose rear end show the same cues as the 2006 Civic Sedan: BMW 3 series. Say that I am blind, or you can bring up the spy shots and compare it with the current or previous generation BMW 3 series. The roof line and the slant of the window frame, the the slightly bubbled boot and the thick round rear bumper. Taillight resembles the Audi A4 more, but look at the previous generation BMW 3 series and shift the part of the tailight that is on the boot lid up a bit, looks similar? "
hmmm........muka ngang me konting hawig sa 3series
now i feel the new civic is starting to grow on me
.

That's definitely the best-looking Civic hands down.
The angles appear to be taken from the present version
Japanese and European Accord. (I dont know if
anybody else noticed it, but Honda seems to be in the
habit of taking from the current Accord's styling
for use on the next generation Civic.)
I agree with the other guys about the coupe's front
end being of better design than the sedan's. But if
the coupe looks better overall (like how the 2-door Integra
always looked better than the 4-dr version), then I'd
rather have the coupe, if they're even selling it here.
pag natanggal yung mga tape, lilitaw ang gleaming chrome emblems and ornaments, tas yung headlights shining like crystals, then let's look for a nice wheel replacement, tas linisin natin yung body, lagyan ng tirewax gulong..............voila..........CIVIC at its best.
(aside from the k20 200hp SI version)
first batch of civics may still use engines of current models, i just wish they had new set of colors, 2 generations na yata yun, kakasawa na
i also notice the use of a single winshield wiper, okay kaya?
