Would you know what would be the best fuel for 06 Civic based on your experiece? Did you ever try different gas stations/variants and come with the conclusion. Thanks

Hi, I've been using Petron XCS Plus for my new Civic since its first fill. Never loaded it with any other gas. It's not my practice to change gas variants in order to maximize the full benefit of a gas variant.

An agent fron Honda Shaw texted me last night advising me of minor changes on the civic - in particular with the 1.8 v model I'm interested in - there will be a "security alarm-response" added which will add 5k - 10k to the current price (not confirmed how much exactly is the increase).

Anyone who can clarify for me what this "security alarm-response" is?

And also to the owners of 1.8 a/t civics, how's your your fuel consumption so far?

Hi, newbie here.. just got my Civic 1.8V MT last jan 24 (Bluish Silver). So far, still satisfied and have not experienced any problem mentioned here. Wala pa ring security features sa 1.8V like EBD, ABS, airbag and alarm system. I asked Honda Makati if they can install an alarm system, sabi sa akin ng AO ko e hindi na daw sila allowed mag-install ng electronics kasi ma-void daw yung warranty. how odd, e sa kanila naman ako bibili ng alarm system.

Meron na ring keyless entry na kasama sa 1.8V, though isang susi lang. yung spare key e wala.

I was at Honda Shaw yesterday - the prices of the new batches of 1.8 civics was increased by 10 k. Changes? For the V they've added the "forceable-entry" alarm system (though the SA is not quite sure if it is the same security alarm system installed in all the other variants of the civic) and for the S... coin pockets
