yup, based on the owners manual... 300miles lang ang break-in period. AFAIK, noong unang panahon pa yata ang 3,000 miles rule.
pareho ng oil change, noon every 3,000miles di ba? Yung newer civics doesnt need it until 5,000 miles or so. the maintenance minder also determines how you drive and not how far you have driven. I have driven 6,200 miles before my maintenance minder went down to 20% oil life.
I agree with number001 regarding braek-in.
RE: D3 tranny
D3, according the manual, if you are in the stop and go traffic and want to eliminate the 4th and 3rd gear hunting, leave it on D3. Ever since friday, I started using the D3 while on traffic.
2 and 1, climbing hill and engine-brake.
Also, the owners manual says you can shift the A/T much like the manual but w/o the clutch. It does not say whether it is recommended or not recommended to shift the A/T. (for the sake of future argument that A/T shouldnt be used or treated as M/T)

Welcome sir Dancerboy..okay naman ang prices nila...Sa tint naman sir eh, the best is the v-kool(super mega expensive), mayrun din naman japan na made of tint which is RITE-kool, this is counterpart of V-kool na USA, RITE kool is much cheaper, ang presyo nito was 13,500 sa civic '06...I used a SolarGard sa Sentra ko sir maganda naman sa experience ko comparing with the 3M na nakakabit sa Starex namin. This is base sa aking observation lang po. Yung civic '06 ko eh walang pa pong tint (buwelo muna ulit ako sa budget for the tint and carseat) hehehe

To give you an idea of the cost, a Fortuner would cost Php 19,000.00+ for a full V-kool treatment. For the front full windshield alone, it would cost Php 5,500.00+
V-Kool and the likes offer, I think, 100% heat deflection compared to conventional tints. This means that it is more effective in blocking out the sun rays thereby reducing the amount of heat that gets built up inside a car on a sunny day as well as further minimizing exposure to harmful UV rays.
You'll have to settle for one way dark tint like Super Black of Solar Guard, if you want privacy. Installing V-Kool is like NOT having any tints on at all because it is 100% clear (transparent) like your car's glass. V-Kool is just like putting a clear coat on the glass and it will not affect the glass' transparency.
If you want a good compromise between privacy and visibility at night use Super Black for your side windows and rear window (if you want). Use Magic Super Black for your front windshield.
up for suzuki
