Very good for a 1.8! Can you share with us the brand and type of fuel you used?

Sabi naman sa manual, may break-in period which is the 1st 1000 kms. Well, kahit walang sinabi sa manual, I'd still follow a break-in routine. There's nothing to lose anyway, better to be safe than sorry ika nga. Ihahataw ko rin siya soon, hehe. :evillaugh

Actually, I had 3/4 of Caltex Techron Silver when I filled it up with Shell Unleaded, so mix-mix na.

yung ECU ng Civic 2006 nasa engine bay na pala ... diba mainit dun? less prone to flood damage daw kasi medyo mataas na sya ... paano naman sa engine wash? although it does appear sealed and probably water tight, i'm not sure i like the strategy ... i still think the ECU is safer where it used to be, inside the cabin

now its my turn here in phil. actually ive already booked the 1.8vti model(withsunroof)...nanegotiate ko n rin yung pagpapalit nang color nung leather seat na beige into charcoal grey that match with the steering wheel, and rallye red yung color..by june or juy maglalabas na daw sila nung bodykits at mura lang...4-6krmb for the whole exterior kit. di nga lnga modul0 or mugen. pero mukha sya nung una. aug or sept ko p nga lang makukuha....

actually im also considering impreza wrx, ndaanan ko yung casa last week....at gwapo man!!!isa sa mga dream car ko 2. bigla akong nagandahan sa kanya nung makita ko nang mlapitan..although i used to be a evo fan..pero mas astig at matapang dating ng wrx..IMHO, doble nga lang presyo 400k rmb(P2.5m)...kung kakayanin ko i wont think twice about it.tsaka reresarech p ko sa maintenance cost nya..anyway may casa naman.... tapos iuuwi ko nang pinas..hehehehe!
...pagbalik ko dyan txt kita......... xie xie!!!

Anyway after a brief test drive of the 1.8V (non ABS )model. i think Honda has hit it quite nicely with this variant. and as already mentioned in other threads it undercuts the other 1.6li model in the market like Mazda 3 and even a 1.6li Altis. so its expected to sell quite well. Get the model with the Sun-Roof variant even though its priced above P1M when converted, at least u get the option of bringing it home (tax-free if i may add). and if u really want a face-lift for her u can swap the headlights and the bumper for a much prettier fascia. U can leave the rear un-touched for that strange JDM-USDM hybrid look.

anyway as per my driving impressions, aside fm. not being able to shift on my own (which i really dislike) the chassis was quite responsive to the steering input and made the car quite sporty. for the interior space, the flat rear floor is more comfortable for middle passengers but i'm surprised its not that roomy for my stature. i was expecting it should be compared to the MZ3. Now for the color difference, yes i believe only China has quite a unique Rallye Red. Other countries get Habanero Red.... for what its worth its redness won't feel out of place alongside bright fiery red Ferrari :D

Wow galing talaga cla sa customer satisfaction ah, they'r willing to change Leather seats for u. pero kung ako lang i prefer the color beige (mas class ang dating - ala Accord ...) . and kaya pala mas mura yung body kits dahil sa non Modulo / Mugen sya. pero tingnan natin quality later.... hirap na kung hindi tight-fitting at di pantay pantay yung gaps :D.

wow WRX, its also one of my dream car - actually an STi mas gusto ko. pero mahal kasi dto dahil CBU japan yan eh.... dapat muna tumama sa Lotto bago makabili nyan...

can u ask your agent if the Si Sedan (197hp) will be brought to China or not? if yes, i maybe forceless to give-in..... ha ha.

huh? i thought its supposed to be alot quieter than the Civics of yore. ingay na ingay na nga ako sa ESi ko. so the next car really has to be cathedral quiet (withou the Lexus price tag). expecting it to be quiet with a tire replacement doesn't bode well about Honda's claim for much improved N.V.H. dba kaya that was u'r impression after immediately driving a Lexus? he he he.

Too bad its engine wasn't upgraded, because the new Civic Si(which used to be weaker) was upgraded with the same 200PS engine as the upcoming Type-R, making the Type-R nothing more than a euro hatchback equivalent of the USDM Civic Si.
