OK so I just got a second hand civic fd 2011 for everyday use. I was recently told that I need to change the tie rod and rackend as they appear loose. I was quoted 6000 peso for the repair. Today while removing the black rubber boot on the tie rod, there was a lot of oil dripping from it. The guy said that I have a leaky power steering and need to repair the seals... He quoted another 6000. My question is that is there suppose to be oil in there? I don't have any oil leaks at all.

Possible, the o-rings could be due for replacement.

But first, are FD's hydraulic PS? Baka naman niloloko ka.

Hinde na kailangan ng surplus, mura na replacement ngayon whole assembly. Plug and play na lang.
