    it takes a long long time for the ENGINE CHECK LIGHT to turn off.
    only when its off, will the engine start...
    anyone can point me in the right direction.

    how long is your long long time?

    basically, ganyan naman talaga, wait for a few seconds before engine light is off and start the engine.
    well, our honda cars does the same.

    toyota lang ang alam kong walang patayan ng engine light.

    more or less mga 5mins before the light goes off... the engine wount start also, until the light goes off...

    replacing all electrolytic capacitors on the ECU might help ... with age, those capacitors will dry up inside and could cause the symptom above

    Mga paps may problem din ako sa ESI ko eh ayaw nya magstart D15B PO8 head nya, puro redondo lng siya tpos ayaw magtuloy nung pinadiagnose ko code 8 (TDC) code 9 (CYP) and code 10 (IAT) ang naread na error. ano po kaya dapat ko gawin or palitan? salamat mga paps
