^ how about their xtra unleaded? i'm getting conflicting answers whenever i ask them (gasboys) about it. and i understand shell and caltex no longer offer fuels w/o an e10 mix

btw, in my area there are unfortunately no "small gasoline players" peddling their wares

Xtra unleaded is E10 blended already. There is a warning on every pump in the form of a yellow sticker stating the presence of ethanol in the fuel.

Diba understood naman na pag walang nakalagay na with E10 dun sa mismong gasoline stand, wala siya halong E10? sa Shell kasi beside SM Taytay, may mga booth na nakalagay Unleaded E10 then meron din Unleaded lang. so dun ako lagi sa Unleaded na walang E10.

Although hindi ko pa din na-try to ask if wala nga talagang E10 yung iba. Will do sa next full tank.

sige, ask ko next time to make sure. if ganito rin lang, XCS na nga ang pinaka-ok. lakas pa ng hatak. hindi ramdam engine brake pag bitaw ng gas pag hindi kabilisan ang takbo.

thanks for the info! and i'll update you guys if meron o walang E10 yung andun.

Even if our vehicles are certified compatible with E10-blended fuels,- I still go for pure gasoline,- Caltex Gold or Petron XCS.... (Shell's gasoline variants are all E10, while Petron Blaze is out of my reach....)

The vehicles that i noted above belong to the same generation (Civic EK).

What are the changes that HCPI made for the 1998-2001 1.6 VTi and 1.5 LXi models as they are of the same engine and made compatible with E10???

I had been handling my sister's 1996 Civic VTi and she has been using either Shell Unleaded (green) and Caltex Silver both are with the E10 blend for over a year and so far no adverse changes have been observed. same responsiveness as always...

Hoping Honda gurus here can help. thanks and happy holidays.
