Hello guys, just newbie to this forum and newbie as well in having a car of my own (2nd hand lang po, honda civic 1999 matic tranny).

Ask ko lang kasi bukod sa tire road noise, meron pa ako naririnig na humming sound which i think from the rear right tire. Prominent yung sound lalo na when between 20-80kph. Bale from 20 mabagal ung hummmm.........hummmm.......hummmmm then habang bumibilis...humm..humm..humm.....etch... until it reached 80kph, then from approx. 81kph and above wala na sya lalo na sa expressway.

Just would like to make sure kung tire nga ba ito or something else, and how i can solve this, or is this normal?

    Thanks.

bushing type or bearing type ba ang suspension ng 1999 civic?

anyways, malamang nga bearing yan. pero check mu din brake assembly ng civic mu sir. baka di lang nagdidis-engage ng maayos.

Had a good chance to listen again yesterday on the road to manila sa slex po, bale more of tsug...tsug...tsug sound pala yun, so habang between 10 to around 40kph pa alng ang takbo it sounds like.....tsug.....tsug....tsug.....tsug.....and then habang bumibilis more than 40kph tsug..tsug..tsug..tsug until mawala na ulit pag 90kph above na po. Sort of really coming from the tires behind, possible ba na bearing pa rin yun or talagang tires? I was able to try it in neutral gear, same thing, pabagal sya ng pabagal until mawala pag 10kph and below na.

Salamat po sa mga nagpost ng reps.

Check your drum brakes. Yung tunog ba one side lang ba? Try to rotate your tires so you could have a better idea if it's coming from the tires or not. Pag ndi lumipat ung tunog kahit nag rotate ka ng ng gulong it means it's either your drum brake is messed up or yung bearing nga sa likod, tignan mo din kung may basag ka nang bushing un ung mga rubber washer sa likod...

I-jack mo muna then iikot mo yung gulong..
Kapag hindi smooth ang ikot check mo yung brake drum...
Hind pa yan bearing kasi kung bearing yan, lalong lalakas yung tunog habang pabilis ng pabilis ang speed mo..

Check your your tire for roundness or scuffing(also known as "Feather Wheel").
