Yep, there should be no problem. Your SX8 City Type Z's engine is fuel-injected, not carbureted like the early 1996-97 models.

what do you mean na mas recommended sa fuel injected? I was just worried kasi diba there is a move that all gasoline will have ethanol content by 2010.

all UNLEADED fuel will be converted to e10. petron has started already. regular or premium petrol will remain leaded for simple reason that a lot of cars running on the streets today have carburetor engines which does not work well with unleaded or e10 fuels.

It doesn't concern you anymore since your SX8 City's engine is fuel-injected. You can run E10 without worrying about your valve seats being eaten away by the ethanol.

10% ethanol (hence E10) is way too low a concentration for any bad effects.

Now if your car had a carbureted engine, that would be another matter. The jury's still out on E10 for carbureted motors I think.

Having a fuel-injected engine does not necessarily mean that it's compatible with E10 fuel. Here's an excerpt from the Honda Cars Makati website (http://www.hondamakati.com.ph/Ver2/N...ubmit=Features)
