We bought a BRV last April 30,and after 15 days the steering was pulling to the right. I brought it to our Honda Greenhills Dealer and was told to take it to Honda Mgallanes as Greenhills doesn't have a wheel alignment facility. We brought it to Magallanes and it took them 1 whole day to correct it but the BRV still pulls to the right, lesser now though. The BRV now rocks left to right slightly and feels the steering is too tight. The bad thing is they charged us P1,700 for the lousy job , saying warranty for alignment is only 9 days from the day the BRV is bought.
Does anyone do their wheel alignment outside the dealer? Ive heard from The mechanics that the BRV is difficult to align for them. I might be able to get some help where to go, what shops to go, to fix my wheel alignment.. I live in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City. My car agent at Greenhills (named Lorenzo) has burried his head in the sand.
    Thanks in advance.

Im taking the brv for a backjob tomorrow, hindi na pantay mag bounce ang four wheels. Ramdam na ramdam na mababa ang front left suspension, at mas mababa pa ang rear left suspension. The right front side is ubod ng taas at nagdi dribble
up & down . Parang the car runs straight in an angle, and the steering is pulling to the right. I got arm weary driving to batangas with my family.

Had my Honda car also warrantied for wheel alignment. Warranty is first 1k lang for the alignment (Honda Phils standard).

    Have your 1700 refunded.

However di rin nila na ayos, had to bring sa Servitek, combination ng manual and computerized alignment.

Also, may wheel alignment sa GH (diyan ko din nakuha unit ko last year). Not sure why they are lying to you.

My guess is their alignment equipment database isn't updated w/ BRV specs. Those can either be DIY encoded or bought. Not all alignment shops w/ Hunter or Hofmann get the annual update subscription. Hofmann's is like $500 per.

is there something unique about the brv's suspension, that makes it difficult to align?

If BGC Taguig area. I'll try Honda BGC. Different Ayala group, they may have a more direct line to the Laguna factory for solutions.

Also being the nearest, it would not hurt to try.

Baka suwertihin sa casa at service advisor.

I doubt na walang file ang HCGHS alignment equipment.

its like any fwd vehicle - McPherson front suspension. Alignment equipments require files though to work properly.

Yeah, probably some dealers donr have the right program for their wheel alignment machines. Had the same problem with a december 2017 CRV. The dealer acquired the right program only last january 2019.

These honda’s are not assembled in Japan but maybe Indonesia or India, Malaysia, etc. Thats why theyre all kargado with human errors during assembly.

Same platform lang yung BRV sa Mobilio so I guess their suspension setup is also the same.

Return it to them and don’t leave until they do it right. They shouldn’t charged you a single dime in the first place and just insist that it’s been like that since day one.

The too shrewed car agent who sold us the car told me to go to honda magallanes for the wheel alignment, then never replies anymore to my calls. Cant complain ! Im starting to think there’s a syndicate in the after sales warranty .

THE HONDA Mobilio & BRV have the same platform, just like the Mazda 2 & the CX3.
But their ride heights and ground clearances are not the same , making a higher vehicle setting having different geometrical suspension settings.
It will take a specific program for a specific vehicle for a proper wheel alignment adjustment.

Some dealers say they are the same because they do not have nor purchase the proper program for a particular car, use instead a program they guess will work, and charge a client for their guesswork.

Platform is the body & unichassis . It doesn't mean the its the same under the chassis, because their ride heights aren't the same, and so are the geometry in aligning all wheels.
Platform used as a basis pertains to the manufacturing plants' description of the cars , usually for parts compatibility and for tax bracketing of the models during exportation & importation to different countries.
Claiming that the Mobilio & the BRV have just the same wheel alignment program are insisted by people usually do a short cut and usually say,
    "Puede na yan."

    so the questions remain,
"are they the same, or are they not?"
    "are the parts the same?"
"are the alignment numbers the same?"

    i mean,
if the manufacturer/dealer says it is, then who are we to say, it ain't ?
but then, mistakes are known to happen even at the highest levels...
