help unusual smell in carpet?

guys dahil sa malimit na pag ulan, medyo nabasa ang carpet ng auto, ano maganda gawin, sa driver side at sa trunk, pls help tnx in advance [eg hatch auto]

Same issue as mine.

Just take it to a detailing shop and have them remove the carpets then wash and dry them. Just came from Big Berts and they have lots of carpets out to dry from customers. If you are a DIY guy, then just remove the seats and carpets yourself and dry them in your garage. That's what I'm going to do. The smell of wet carpets is like having someone fart in your car or leave a bunch of smelly socks in your car. The smell goes away after a few minutes of having the aircon turned on.

pwede mo din i-try to kung nagtitipid ka:

Lagyan mo ng downy yung basang carpet. Tapos ibilad mo yung oto mo sa araw. Iwan mo nakabukas yung pinto or bintana para mabilis sumingaw yung evaporation. Pag may amoy pa din, derecho ka na kay Big Bert's.

Kailangan kasi mapatuyo iyan DIY na lang bumili ka ng carpet shampoo at Shampoo mo at patuyuin maigi para mawala amoy at kung mayroon charcoal ilagay mo lang sa loob ng kotse para maabsorb niya amoy.

what i did with mine nung tumulo yung sa ac, di ko na tinanggal yung carpet, tinaggal ko yung drain plug sa flooring yung rubber, then binuhos ko pa yung carpet ng tide w/ downy, dretso scrub at piga na din, tapos spray ko din ng lysol, then 3-5days din yun na walang araw, di naman nangamoy, kahit damp for a week yung carpet. I guess nakatulong ng malaki yung downy at lysol.

I used Powdered detergent soap mix it with Baking soda and vinegar then I brush it thoroughly tapos I used blower to dry, you can also let it dry in the sun just leave the doors open.

Try this..in a used california scent can or other car freshner, put some baking soda, at least half or more, kung pwedeng dalawang container mas maganda, lagay mo lang sa cup holder or kung san mo nilalagay ang car freshner mo.It works overnight pati ung scent ng car freshner ko tinanggal nya sa carpet kong nangamoy dahil nabasa. I didnt know that baking soda can do wonders on those problem that fast. Try it...
