Yung akin is a '97 VTi. It gets 6km/l and accelerates slower than the neighbourhood dogs.
But it did surprise me when it hit 195 km/h sa SCTEX. Yun lang, I will never buy another Honda.

August 5th, 2008 02:05 PM #497 accord vti-s owner here. last time I checked eh mga nasa 5+ km/li ang fuel consumption ko. lately di ko na sya finufull tank since once a week ko na lang sya ginagamit. parang nag-eevaporate lang yng gas sa tagal ng intervals. hehe.
power wise lakas humatak. for me ramdam ko difference compared to driving cars ng friends ko, 1.3 city, and 1.6 altis. dapat lang since 2.2 ang vti-s. pero sa presyo ng gas ngayon syempre di ko na hinahataw.
pag nasa 82000+ kms na yan, check to make sure napalitan na timing belt and most other things na ginagawa sa major tune up na yon. malaki-laking gastos din yan.

Well, yes, mejo bagal kasi city and altis. Compare it to a civic, mas matulin ang civic.

Guwapo nga ang 97 VTi-S. Kung 165k, mura na yun, kasi I'm planning nga to sell mine at 200k kasi once a week ko na lang ginagamit. It's averaging 5.5 to 6kms/liter, kaya before, kada every 300 kms, nagpapa-full tank na ako. Yung current ride ko, 2006 Civic, kada every 450 kms. lang ang full tank ko, kaya ang laking tipid compared to before.
Since its an old car na, medyo marami nang dapat palitan, kaya mapapagastos ka diyan. Pero the car is solid, at 120 kph, parang nasa 60 kph ka lang. And maluwag talaga sa loob. Bad trip nga lang yung power windows, mabagal yung motor.
If you have the moolah, go get it. Otherwise, get a more fuel-efficient car.

^^^ Aubergine Pearl ang color. Almost stock pa rin siya, but I've bought new mags na and iba na ang head unit niya (Kenwood DPX-4010). Am still thinking about selling it, kasi naka-loan pa siya, kaya mahirap ayusin ang documentation.
3M Color Stable series are all above 50% TSER. RFID readable through the tint, stays good for...
What's the best car tint brand and color?
