Help Need your inputs: I am planning to buy 2nd Gen CRV

Any inputs or comments po about acquiring a 2002 - 2003 CRV, Pros and Cons po? On any recommendation since I am targeting to buy a bigger car that can carry at least 7-8 passengers.

except for the FC of 7.5km /li ave highway& traffic for my automatic 02 CRV , the car is perfect

my daily drive is a crv...ok naman sya...but if you are particular about ride comfort, the crv has a bouncy suspension pag hindi puno...it's not a soft roader as the first model crv

i got the 2nd gen 10-seater but in reality it can only accommodate 5 adults and 2-3 children seating at the 3rd row. i guess if you're targeting 7-8 adults i think crv is not the right vehicle for your needs.

the updated 2nd gen w/new bumper/rear light design has a more comfortable ride compared w/ the 10-seater. mas matagtag yung 10-seater i guess because it has stiffer suspension to haul 10 person. sulit ibyahe to the province kahit fully loaded with 5~6 passengers plus heavy cargo.

Any inputs regarding the fuel consumption of 2002 CRV - Manual tranny?

Is it still ideal to buy a gen 1 - 1999-2001 model crv manual tranny? or better just get the 2002 above?

Need to be a bit practical on gas consumption these days kaya mas prefer ko lang and manual, kahit knee killer sya pag traffic.

Oh and is the 4x4 variant a full-time 4x4? or does it have an on and off switch?
