January 22nd, 2007 07:50 AM #1mga boss pls help naman! i'll be buying a 94 honda civic for 145K today! is it advisable to get this model with that price? what should i ask the seller to be sure i'll be buying a good one. im a newbie here, more in cars! pls help!

IMO that's a bargain. ESI ba yan o LX? Either way, mura na yan. Check the roof for 'bubbles' kase un lumalabas na pinakasakit ng EG (92-95 civic). Everything else you can find in the second hand car threads which you will see below in the related threads section. But here are some items you can check, just to name a few:
- check if timing belt was replaced already
- check cooling system if still ok (radiator, water pump, thermostat, thermoswitch, aux fan)
- check engine if there are leaks
- check suspension
- most important item, check if papers are ok
If you're going to get the car today, I'm guessing excited ka na and what we're going to say here won't really matter hehe. Just expect that, at that age and price, medyo may papagawa ka na din iba, sana lang hindi major.
