Hi guys! I need your help in scouting, and any advice regarding sa honda city..Plan kong bumili ng 2nd hand na honda city type z.

ano-ano ba yung mga nagiging problems/concerns/trouble ng honda city? and kung may marerekomenda kayong seller then, mas ok po.

Salamat in advance sa mga magrereply.

type z? I assume that you are looking at the model 2000-2001, VTi.
wala namang known issues dyan sa oto na yan. dami ko kakilala na fully contented with their cars with the same model.

thanks spyke! naeexcite lalo akong bumili ng honda city. kaso ang tanong, saan? kasi minsan nagtitinggin na kami, either, may diperensya ung sasakyan or masyadong mahal (di kaya ng budget)..

and sir spyke, how much ba dapat ung range ng type z city?

vti type z is 1.5L maybe range from 250-320. mine is type z 1.3 . i cannot tell you exactly regarding gas consumption of vti type z.. but i believe it's economical.

as with most hondas things to check are:

    1. oil leaks sa engine.
    2. pang ilalim
    3. ask if timing belts have been replaced for units used for 80T kms or more.

eto lang mga nakakainis sa honda. if the above are OK, wala ka na sakit ng ulo gawa ng napaka reliable kahit anong model.

after getting your honda, drive to the nearest casa, change all fluids, replace the thermoswitch, check radiator, and you're good to go

as with any used car, pa asses mo muna kahit gumastos ka pa sa Honda casa.

and like any used items, expect it to be a used item. meaning age and usage has already taken toll. good luck.

First the price is too high for a 2001 model, second Honda City Type Z Vti's come in manual transmission, this might be a 1.5 Exi variant, double check the vehicle if you're seriously considering this unit. Good luck.

Honda citys are very good, especially the newer models. Just check EVERYTHING about the car when buying second-hand ones. Starting from the papers, kailangan malinis. Pag nagkaproblems ka sa papers, sakit sa ulo yan! Check the history of the car, kung meron accidents, and, much better kung malaman mo kung ano occupation ng owner. Ads may say that it's a private car, pero di mo masabi baka ginamit ang car kung saan saan on a daily basis (baka HIGH-MILEAGE na). Sadly, I just found out mine used to be driven by a private investigator...that explains the high-mileage on my car. ON mo lahat pwede ON...yung door locks, aircon, wipers, stereo...It's better na maipakita mo sa kakilala mo mechanic yung car para macheck engine leaks (THIS IS IMPORTANT!), plus other leaks under the hood, and the BRAKES. One more thing, try not to buy from BUY AND SELL agents, lalo na pag di mo kilala. It is better to look for DIRECT SELLERS.
