help!! (civic may ugong)

im driving a civic vti 2000 model A/T. purchased it as a second hand. i just noticed na pag nag-on ako ng aircon, may ugong siya.(medyo malakas e. ano kaya yun? anyone of you guys has an idea about this? TIA

Can you describe the "ugong", if the engine is okay when the aircon is turned off and comes only when your aircon is turned on, then the aircon is the culprit, have it checked at your friendly car aircon shop.

There are a lot of causes with this sound like compressors and bearings. Good luck.

since pag nag oon ng aircon, i suspect the compressor bearing.

pag "whrrrrrrrrrrrr" sound... idler bearing (200 petot)

pag "wheeeeeee" sound... pulley or belt or broken bearing sa compressor or all 3

yung vti-s ko 03 model medyo marami na rin weird noises sa engine. hindi ko na lang pinapansin, hehe. basta maayos yung takbo at malutong yung idle sound, oks na yun.

wag masyado OC sa kotse, is my advice... para hindi masakit sa bulsa hehehehe

para siyang tunog na parang may electric fan na malaki. hehe. i'll try to observe ulit tom. baka pa-check ko na din ung compressor. thanks mga bossing.

the usual "ugong" when turning on the a/c is the compressor pumping in cold air sa auto, but if the "ugong " is somewhat like very loud and continuous up until the compressor dies down. then your compressor has problem. usually compressor are being replaced or repaired. bring it to a reliable a/c shop.
