help! Civic 97 cronk sound sa hump

me cronk sound sa driver side sa front side...pinacheck ko sa zafra lower arm daw ata but they are not sure... any help..

pag inangat ang front driver side tapos binaba then run mo nawawala pero balik uli...

any mods done recently sa suspension?

if not, malamang nasa spring yan or shocks. i forgot the name of the part pero its on the tip of the shocks. not sure din but yun lang tancha ko. hehe

yung sa lower arm, medyo malabo kasi dapat everytime liliko or sudden stop, that would show (or sound).

if they can't pinpoint the problem, get a second opinion. try going to zee suspension shop in aurora or at cruven. mas ok daw mag trabaho sila sa mga shop na iyan

Sir same issue with my civic99, Pinacheck ko sa speedyfix sa shaw, nagpalit ako ng upperarm worth2K yata yun plus labor... pasilip nyo din sir...tinitest drive namna yan sir to check kung san ang sira worse case nyan shocks pero check mo din sir kung may leak na yung shocks kasi matibay ang shocks ng civic 96-00 kumpara sa 01.

You can also check the rubber ng upper arm ng car mo to check if the rubbers are still ok or not.

fairly sure it's one of the shocks (dampers). one or both could be stuck up.

yung "cronk" sounds like two pieces of metal rubbing together no? this happened to my CRV nung pinaangat ko lifter for an oil change. nagstuck yung isa. went to cruven to have it fixed.

after about four months pinaangat ko ulit for the diff fluid change, pagbaba, yung isa naman ang nag stuck, hello cruven its me again...

apparently, ayaw ng mga CRV ang inaangat with all 4 wheels hanging down. mabigat kasi wheels ng CRV so if you force the shocks to take the weight of the wheels with no support underneath, nasisira sila. this may have happened to you.

yung upper arm kakapalit lang kasi bago pa pero yung feel ko sa upper arm talaga galing yung tunog kasi try ko tinaas ng jack yung driver side ayun nag "cronk" ng binaba ko yung jack...

kaya medyo duda ako na hindi lower arm yung tumutunog...

yung shocks 1 year old pa lang po...

better have your car check by at least two or three different car shops. but never go to rapide! tatagain ka dun. better among zafra or cruven. kung walang leak yang shocks, it would be the upper or lower arm. for you to sure.pakalas mo sa isang reliable shop, then weigh the options that they will offer you. usually pag dlawang shops ang nagsabi ng parehong sakit niyan. it means yun ang sira talaga ng auto mo, pero kung may pera ka naman. para mawala yang iniiisip mo. dalin mo sa casa...goodluck and iwas ka sa panloloko...

sakin may ganyan din sound dati pero nawala nung pinapaltan ko lahat ng bushing sa suspension..
