I am not sure if there is an existing thread already regarding this concern. If there is, I'd appreciate it if someone can redirect me to it.

I have a Honda CRV 2008 4WD and it just hit the 50k mark. The thing that I noticed was when I start my car after being parked for more than 8 hours, there is scratching sound for 1-2 sec/s after the engine starts. I am sure that the sound was not produced because of holding the key in ON position even after the engine starts. To check the problem, I tried to off the engine and started it again but the scratching sound was not there anymore. It only happens on cold starts but not all the time. My car runs smooth and there are no problems after starting the car.
