First Gen Honda Jazz/Fit (GD) discussion

yup. makati-global city, taguig- paranaque route ko everyday sir. di ko lang alam kung considered highway driving sa SLEX and C5 medyo traffic din kasi lagi doon eh.

I race my GD1 around Batangas Racing Circuit and Clark International Speedway. My worst fuel consumption on trackdays is 9 km/L. On one tank of gas, I can usually drive to the circuit, run hot laps, and drive home with fuel to spare. Not many cars can do that.

I noticed recently though that my GD does not like Petron's 91-octane Super Xtra Unleaded. Running is fine, but fuel consumption is pathetic at 9 km/L. I normally get 10-12 km/L in the city and 14-16 km/L on long drives using Petron's 93-octane Xtra Unleaded - and I don't drive like a saint.

Hmmm..
maybe its time to have my clutch assembly replaced,
bought the car 2nd hand and i think hindi pa napapalitan clutch ever since bought by the first owner 2006,
am not getting those figures sa fc, only getting 8km/liter, tipid na magdrive, feeling ko nga minsan parang sliding,
alam kong 1.3 lang sya pero parang ang hina ng hatak, may shudder ng onte from full stop acceleration,
ang taas na ng clutch pedal bago mag engage,
haha, ang mahal pa naman assembly.
lady driver pa pala previous owner, i dunno if this contributes sa wear ng clutch, just added info.

Bad trip kagabi. During the peak of the rains last night, my battery just gave up on me. haha. tried to use jumper cables but to no avail. super basa ako! just called up motolite and was impressed by their fast service. 4k nga lang inabot. oh well.

hindi naman daw ba pwersado yung dalawang screw sa taas pag ganyan ang ginawa?
from the looks of it, mukang magbebend ng onti yung dalawa sa taas.

anyway saan kaya shop makabili ng manual shift boot (sira na kasi yung akin / tried also casa & spa wala daw even sa plant)?

wala sa honda spa?
madalas ako dun, bumibili ng mga parts na need ko for my GD,
so far walang mintis, laging meh part sila na kelangan ko, especially rubber parts,
thou yung ibang part, may take some weeks, medyo matagal talaga, just like my center aircon louver,
its been 2 weeks na, wala pa daw hanggang ngayon, pero magkakaron naman daw, maghihintay lang.
Nanggaling nga ako dun kanina, nagpaorder ako ng isa pang rubber part, wala
daw kasi stock, so kukuha daw sa planta.

try mo pumunta personally sir, parang medyo imposible na wala sila,
hindi pa naman sobrang luma GD natin para maubusan ng stock nun,
shift boot pa, parang understructible nga yan in normal use lang.

sir i have been there dun ako bumuli nung wiper cover sa likod wala daw talaga. they even check sa planta wala din daw. same as what I did sa hondakal.
yun din nga expecting ko na meron since probably yung cover ng shifter is palitin dahil rubber at nasisira unlike sa EK or EG na leatherette..

sobrang lakas nang kadyot nang city, pag nag brake at pag nag accelerate especially pag bagong andar.. sana madala lang nang cvt fluid flush.

oo nga sir sana makuha sa palit fluid though seeing other threads related, it seems the flywheel is the usual culprit and pinapalitan ito..

actually napalitan na nang flywheel to 2 yrs. ago... sana nga rin di na cvt yung papalitan, dami na lumalabas na sakit nang city ko.
aside from the transmission meron namang whirring sound sa may left side nang engine, mukhang kailangan na rin papalitan nang drive belt... ang masaklap lang wala pa ako budget, tagal pa nang bonus eh... hehehe...
