No thread available yet for the first gen Jazz GD body. might as well create one.

Anyway, mga sir/maam, may concern lang ako sa Jazz GD ko,
its been raining pretty hard lately and nakita ko na may nag-se-seep in na tubig at naiipon sa spare tire compartment sa likod. so i immediately it off and silip silip sa kung saan nanggaling, opened rear hatch, tinanggal ko yung plastic cover ng lock sa baba and i noticed na nanggagaling yung seep of water dun sa pagitan nung dalawang yero na na nagmeet and covered by the weather strip rubber sa labas. (I hope i described it right) if light rain lang wala naman.

anyone had theses problem? i tried silicone pero no luck, meron parin onte nagseseep at naiipon sa spare tire compartment,
ive asked the price of a new weather strip sa casa, and reasonable naman sakin ang price, last resort ko na yun if ever hindi talaga masolusyonan, pero kung meh alam kayo iba paraan, pwede ko subukan.

    thanks!

this is a common problem sa 1st gen jazz btw, ive looked into fitfreak and some forumers there experience din this water seepage sa tire compartment, anyone here had the same problem? ano ginawa nyo solution? would it be better ba na tanggalin ko yung buong weather strip and pasiksikan ko ng masilya yung meeting point ng yero? yung silicone kasi parang hindi effective, may lumulusot padin.

pacheck mo muna sa trusted shop.

hindi naman daw ba pwersado yung dalawang screw sa taas pag ganyan ang ginawa?
from the looks of it, mukang magbebend ng onti yung dalawa sa taas.

Jazz or City parehas lang naman GD un at body lang ang pinagkaiba. Share your experience sa auto mo like fuel consumption, parts, accessories, performance and problems.
