October 30th, 2010 09:03 PM #1Guys help…
Now ko lang naexpience to sa Honda esi matic ko…erratic starting… ok naman battery ko… dati pag hirap start..tatapakan ko lang konti gas pedal start na siya… now hindi na… may ilaw naman lahat.. panel gauges, headlight etc..
Bago ko to naiexperince minsan hindi sya nag start when shifted to PARK… so what I did is shift it to NUETRAL.. ayun nag start naman… tas minsan nag start din on PARK pero erratic siya.
So it goes on for a couple of days starting up on NUETRAL…. Kanina hard starting na sya.. so I pass it over pinahinga ko ng mga 3 hour tas gumana ng kanina shifter on NUETRAL inikot ko sa village naming.. ok naman ang harurot tas pinahinga ko ng mga 30 minutes after ko inikot… now ayaw na naman magSTART. Any one experience the same?
Before this happen I remember na bigla nalang ako namatayan ng makina while idle kahit aircon off. And also while driving on EDSA las Wednesday nakaexperince ako ng RPM frop to 500 while AIRCON ON. May normal RPM is when I got the car few months ago is pegged at 800-1000 pag aircon on 1200.
Naka fabricated IDLE UP ACTUATOR na din pala etong ESI ko… the mere purpose na lang SERVO is for ECU detection.
Ano suggestions guys? Hirap pa naman ngayon holiday..
Hay SOS guys. Thank you!

bro, check mo yung grounding mo, baka may umido or madumi na yung terminals ng battery or yung connection sa body. ganito naging problema ko dati (honda esi din), mas susceptible nga lang kapag ganitong umuulan.
hope this helps.

pag na-start mo na, bring it to a good shop and have them do the ff:
1. change atf
2. adjust timing and valve clearance
3. clean out the TB and IACV
4. change spark plugs
5. change to 93 OCT gas
6. tighten battery terminals
that should do the trick. unless nag-ooverheat ka at the same time, or na-flood dati kotse mo, the above ought to address many issues sa mga honda vehicles of your vintage.

November 3rd, 2010 03:58 AM #8maraming salamat sir volts
actually almost done with them
-had change atf from honda spa the very first month i had this esi
-had a mechanic adjusted the timing and clearance already
-had it also change oil last Oct 2 from regular mineral oil to Royal Purple fully synthetoc c/o SpeedyFix
-had clean out last week the IACV or servo even thou its for the sole purpose of ECU detection since the installed Fabricated IDLE UP ACTUATOR is now incharge of the AIRCON system
-im using SHELL PREMIUM only, had tried using other gasoline last month the output is unfavorable nanginig engine ko so revert back to Shell Super Premium
-indeed their tight the battery terminals, battery still pegged at 12.38V on my multimeter
they say that it mus have something to do with the starter or alternator
i am suppose to change my radiator to evercool two rows in banawe last week when this damn thing happen... im loosing a pint of water on my resevoir weekly thats why i opted for a change radiator.. but no to avail **** does happens..

November 7th, 2010 04:00 PM #9my car is up and going again... salamat sa mga Paps na nagshare ng ideas... sa mga gagong nanggulo lang... kunin na sana kayo ni Lord agad.
well, the problem has nothing to do with starter, alternator nor fuel pump or fuel filter... its a busted distributor rotor which shorted my ECU capacitors and chips..hehehe
Thanks to the help of very Mang Paul -mechanic and Mang Danny -electrician very competent at mga totoong tao ito.. hindi tulad ng iba dyan na plastic at dorobo at mga gago.
my gurang na esi is up and working again... if you guys would want to try Mang Paul and Mang Danny... i would be very glad to share you their contact numbers .. just PM me.. hindi naman tayo madamot at sakim tulad ng iba diyan.
morepower sa mga mababait na Paps at sa Tsikot.com!
