    Guys, im planning to buy a project car anytime soon. I'm planning kc to buy a 99 civic vti or lxi or maybe i could go with a civic hatch. Any suggestions?

    What are you planning for performance? IHE only? Turbo? Engine swap?

    If IHE or Turbo, you can start with the VTi. If you want to do an engine swap, getting the LXi will save you some money upfront.

    You can't go wrong with the hatch, but honestly my eyes are getting tired of seeing these pimped-up eggs on the road.



    I'll take the LXi for that SiR look.

    Honestly, I never liked the silver trimmings in the VTi.

    But it's a no-brainer choice if you're after VTEC.
