    Hi Guys,

hope you could help me on my problem bought a second hand honda city 2006

3 days palang sakin but napansin ko nung nag byahe ako sa highway around 60-80 kph biglang nag minor jerk sya then namamatay yung engine, so nasa gitna ako then i need na itabi sya para irestart ulit, di naman madalas mangyari.

ahm medyo kinakabahan ako kasi baka mamya major issue to and malaki pa cost ng pagawa hope this isnt something so serious

it would be good to have it scanned for any error codes since you just recently acquired it. medyo dangerous yan ganyang symptoms.

*robot.sonic i tried to google fuel filter problems and mukang tama ka nga

    Filter Problems

A completely plugged fuel filter will stop your engine cold by choking off the flow of fuel to the carburetor or injectors. The engine may not start, or it may start, then stall and die.

Some filters have a spring-loaded bypass, however, that allows fuel to bypass the filter element if it becomes clogged. Fuel continues to flow, but it may carry dirt to the carburetor or injectors, which can create additional problems.

A partially restricted filter will usually pass enough fuel to keep the engine running at idle or low speed, but may starve the engine for fuel at higher speeds or loads. So your engine may run fine putting around town, but sputter and lack power when you try to drive at highway speeds or pass someone.

hopefully maayos na to thanks ulit

2K+ ata yung fuel filter ng honda city sa casa. Nagpapalit lang ako nyan last year. 2005 jazz akin. Since 06 yan, baka nga kailangan na din talagang palitan. Kasama yan sa 80K PMS.

air intake..ganyan rin akin noon..baka marumi na yung dulo (tube papuntang gitna)...barado na para bang di na makahinga ang engine especially during shifting..kaya while running umiilaw yung battery check then oil check then engine stops...

after cleaning, wla ng sumpong since then...
