    i downloaded a service manual for honda civic 92-96 model.
    however,inside the document, it references to engine d16z6 / d16z1..
    is this the engine of honda civic esi 95?

    basta yung local release was a D16 sohc non-vtec engine a.k.a. PH16

    almost 70 MB yund document1258 pages pero very informative and detailed...
    kasama din vtec.madami pala engines na sinusupport..

    Kung masisilip mo, first 5 characters ng engine number ang model (e.g. D16Y3-xxxxxxx)

    The ESi engine is "PH16", which is basically a d16z6 with no VTEC, O2 sensor, and some other things missing. Also, due to the modifications, iba yung ECU nya, P27 instead of P28 for the "real" version.

    So yes, in the manual, you can use the specs for d16z6.
