June 4th, 2010 01:06 PM #1Ask ko sa nga guru jan, pwede ba isalpak ung d15b cylinder head sa PH16a engine? Meron kasi nagbebenta sa akin and gusto ko lang makasiguro kung pwede nga.
Saan ba originally nakasalpak ang d15b engines? Ung sa honda civic vtec '96 ko ang nakasalpak is PH16A.
Help naman po.

June 4th, 2010 06:08 PM #5Ung Ph16A ko is VTEC na rin sir so hindi rin pala applicable magpalit ng head from Ph16A to D15b magpapalit pa rin pala ng computer box. Mas magastos pa kalalabasan. Actually meron na ako nacanvass from evangelista na cylinder heads so doon na lang ako bili.

A JDM D15B head has better cams... but there's not really any big reason to swap out a D16/PH16 head for one.
There's no problem with the compression from the heads... the compression is decided by the pistons and rods.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

as above, if you want to go OEM-style, get a "spare tyre lock". but i use an ordinary cheap...
