I know someone who market that Honda Fit and cost around 280,000 . About the engine nothing to worry its the convertion process from right hand drive to left hand drive. If you want to have a peace of mind when driving get a Vios.

Why even bother to buy an import? The local Jazz is more than good enough.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

KOREK po kyo dyan. Better have a car assembled D2, like VIOS. You'll just have great trouble when time comes that you need to replace certain parts of that vehicle from Japan. Mahirapan lang po kyo. Next that conversion from righthand drive to lefthand, not well engineered po ang pagkakagawa ng mga Filipino PALPAK na mechanic. Great danger lang po ang haharapin nyo. Lower resale value po yan kpag naisipan nyo ng ipagbili at mahirap ipagbili.

Get the vios or the LOCAL honda jazz.

Never buy a converted one if you have a better option which is the Vios.

Kung 280K mura yun sa JDM Fit ok na sakin yun, kc you have the Quality of the Body structure pag galing Japan compare sa local pra sakin class A kc ung pintura na ginagamit nila and hindi madali kalawangin ung lata nya. Majority ng mga Honda local madali talaga kalawangin ung lata nya. And JDM FIT I-Dsi(Chain Drive less maintenance) engine standard with AirBag and ABS plus 4WD (Realtime 4wd)

Well in the end kung 280K nga yan pwede for me dahil mura yun. Hindi ka makaka kuha ng 300K na local na kapareho nya. Well nsa nag-cconvert yan dapat lahat bolt on and maipapa-check mo yan sa mga expert sa pang ilalim madali na yan d2 sa atin. Peace

Well, i bought mine (fit 2008) around 340k its silver and its already a year and 3 months since i bought this last 2009, i havent got any issue so i really love this car very fuel efficient. I am from General Santos city and travels to Davao 3 hours drive very often and would you believe mag fuel ako from GSC ng worth 500 balikan na yun ..pagtingin ko ng fuel gauge ang konti lang nabawas nakabalik na ulit ako ng GSC nuon...

Issues? sa sobrang isang taon na sa akin, wala pa naman ah yeah of coarse na flat tire dahil nakaapak ako ng natulis na bagay yan lang so far oh meron pa pala namatayan ako sa road an when I checked it abg battery pala ang problema so I changed battery after that smooth sailin na from aircon to engine I have not encounterd a problem ..my officemates here would even say, parang ninja daw ang fit ko dahil sa sobrang tahimik ng engine wala kang marinig na ingay ng makina pag umandar ito, di nila namalayan na dumating na ako or umaalis ako hahaha...

the body is good makapal ang kaha at ang ganda ng kulay well i maintain it by waxing twice in a month kaya sobrang kintab and glossy..

advice for you brod, go for fit you know how japanese market are so concerned of the word QUALITY mahigpit sila sa kahit na anu bagay from food to clothing to cars, they are very strict of quality, kaya you get the best quality cars ever ...i noticed locally made jazz ang nipis ng kaha isandig mo katawan sa kaha (near drivers) ay nayuyupi na ...

i agree with niky, why not consider a jazz instead of fit JDM, at least may similarity ang fit & jazz.

In most convertion from RHD to LHD (Japanese cars are RHD) the signal lights, etc. are in reverse. Unless proficient ka sa ganito or ambidextrous medyo mahirap. Takes a little getting used to this setup. Plus a converted car has increased chances of malfunction. Very few RHD to LHD cars (pero meron konti nga lang) work well and work economically.

Besides unless kilala mo talaga medyo delikado 2nd hand cars because of the Ondoy incident. Flooded cars can be made to look like new or non-flooded. Buyers be wary.

Price consideration ata nung thread starter. Why not the Fit? In the long run hindi kasing economical ng isang locally assembled/sold unit.

The Fit and the Jazz are one and the same. Japan=Fit. Elsewhere=Jazz.

probably the only reason u can entertain this is if u can't afford the 2nd. hand local release version. so u spring for the "dirt cheap" JDM => LHD converted ones....

if u go by that route, make sure u get a good cheap deal and be prepared of the hassles that go along with converted cars... means more functional & (possibly) reliability/safety issues.

goodluck, let us know what u bought...

2002 honda fit japan, ok ba?
