Tsikot Masters, gusto ko sana idownpipe ang oto ko, honda civic 1996 model, pero di ko lam kung san pwede dalhin at ano mga requirements sa car para magkaroon non, pros and cons? thanks mga sir. GODBLESS.

Requirements for a downpipe? First buy a turbocharger, intercoooler, engine management and associated piping and install it on your car. Then you can put a downpipe on.

What you want for a standard everyday engine is a header.

Aw... I thought bsta naka air filter, ok na. hehe. kasi bakit parang yung sa kakilala ko, parang stock engine lang siya, hindi pa nakaheaders, pero naka down pipe? hehe....

actually sir, mejo malabo talaga. tuners call the pipe from the turbo to the exhaust system a downpipe. mechanics and engineers call the pipe between the headers and the catalytic converter down pipe din.

sometimes people just change the oem downpipe (refering to the second one above) into a larger one. but changing the downpipe doesnt do that much, sakal ka pa rin sa oem header and mufler. might as well get an aftermarket header and exhaust system rather than replacing a single piece that does little or nothing at all.
