Hi guys I have a 2009 FD, alignment problem as it shifts to the left. Sent to Value Plus for alignment however they did not proceed kasi daw I have to fix /replace the following issues first

    Rack pinion assembly
    Tie rod end
    Tie rod bar
    Lower arm assembly
    Front shock abs and components

    Questions:
    Reliable ba Value Plus?
Do I really need to replace these before they can align it?
How much will it cost me?
Where best to bring the car (Las Pinas area)

    Thanks

it is first rule in alignment: make sure your various components are within factory specifications.
it would be a waste of money, if one were to have his car aligned, with worn suspension parts. the alignment wouldn't hold true after a short time, if it can be aligned in the first place.

but whether your parts are still ok or not, is another question.
you can bring your car to another facility, for second opinion. and third opinion, if you so wish.
if they all say you need to replace some parts first...
    they're probably right.

    good luck.

Get a 2nd and 3rd opinion... And prepare your wallet. Rack n Pinion issue is expensive... More so since yours is a Honda.

Altis' rack and pinion costs P37k (new assembly)

    Good luck

when i was still active in pre-owned and minana-from-dad car ownership, suspension and steering wear-and-tear evaluation was of the wiggle-it-shake-it method.
i do not know if this is still the way nowadays.
but if it still is, one can easily watch and learn.
