City/Jazz prices increased!

September 18, 2009 - Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. announces plans to adjust the suggested retail prices of its mighty subcompacts, the Honda City and Jazz models. Effective October 1, 2009, all City and Jazz models will have minimal increase in price amounting to Php 5,000 and Php 10,000, respectively. The 1.3-liter A City variant with manual transmission will be priced at Php 681,000 while the 1.3-liter S Jazz variant with manual transmission will be priced at Php 732,000.

OVERPRICED! The top of the line Jazz will now be P832,000. Simply overpriced for its class...

They're actually making the yaris competitive now

This is partly what happened to the higher Lancer EX trims (slight OT)

May Top Gear nga akong nabasa recently eh sa Wrong Car, Right Car section. The Jazz is better than the Yaris but is it P150,000 better. Maybe not...

Car for car, it's better in most, if not all judging factors especially when you want a sporty ride.

Once you factor in the price, you realize why toyota can still sell new yaris, and why the city hasn't caught on as much as the vios j/e.

honda's loss lang. they could always have absorbed the 5/10k price increase to keep sales low but i suppose they want that 'premium' image with the added profits too. :/

Wow ang mahal na! Konting dagdag na lang, may Altis 1.6G AT ka na (na pwede pang mabigyan ng hanggang Php30,000 discount = Php839,000 vs Php832,000 na Jazz!!!). Maganda sana talaga yung Jazz kaya lang overpriced na yata masyado. Parang mas sulit tuloy ngayon ang Altis (or even Vios and Yaris for that matter).

Dalawang editors sa TGP eh Jazz owners.. What would you expect.. Hay HCPI ang dugas nyo.. Grabe naman ang pricing nila..For sure yang Civic at CRV ang may next price increase..
